When is the MOE version coming to stores?

I have a standard 15-22 on layaway at cabelas I was about to go pick it up but now I'm seeing that smith-wesson.com has a MOE version with Magpul stock, Magpul grip, folding sights, sling attachment point and a threaded barrel with compensator. I'll have to talk to the guys at Cabelas and see if they can order one in.

I have been lookin around and I saw a few threads claiming April or May
Thats the Edition I originally wanted but found that my dealer had a 15-22 with MOE grip and Stock on it with Magpul BUIS on it
He sold it to me for 510+Tax
Only thing missing is the Sling adapter on the Reciever.
So I jus bought that one and it had numerous FTE and FTF
Sending it back to smitty now.

Yeah, the MOE version looks good, I guess I will just convert mine myself to get that look.

FWIW - I was at a gun show in VA today and one dealer had a DTX99xx SN model he just got from his distributror. He wouldn't let me open it to see if it had blue springs and he was not aware when the MOE version was going to hit the streets.

S&W has starting producing the MOE finally. We'll see how long before someone on this forum is able to get one and post a report.

Well I talked to the guy at Cabelas and he's never heard of the MOE. I convinced a friend to buy the gun I have on layaway but I haven't found anyone that has the MOE yet, I'll be keeping an eye out
