Who carries a K-frame concealed?

Me...

I carried a M10 snub as my duty weapon for years, both in uniform (lieutenant and above were issued snubs) and concealed when on duty and not in uniform. While a bit heavy they do conceal well in a good holster and belt combination.

The M10 snub is now my home protection gun. It's a bit too much to carry now that I'm older and have no reason to go in harms way.

I am currently using a 4 inch M12-3 Blued RB. Picked up my first Kydex IWB from Dead Eye Lukes. Wanted something that was secure but could be quickly detached from the belt. This holster works perfectly and is very comfortable.

I am thinking of switching to a 4 inch M66-8 as some over 13 foot gators were taken from Lake Seminole where I fish. A 15 footer, 1100 lbs was taken in AL in a river not too far away. Maybe a M69 instead.

I now carry a K framed 66-4 snubbie using a clipdraw. I carry it inside the waistband, appendix position. It conceals under the lightest of t-shirts worn over it. I used to use the nickeled clipdraw to match the stainless finish of the revolver, but recently changed to the blued clipdraw because I found that the nickeled one was very visible if the outer t-shirt road up during movement, while the blued one was not nearly as noticeable.

It is as easy to wear as putting your wallet in your back pocket in the morning. Just slip the clipdraw over your pants beltline and put on a t-shirt.

I'm carrying a S&W 64-4 Snubbie in a custom made, hi-ride modified pancake OWB holster by Lobo Leather as I type this. The wife and I are on our way to the gun club at Ft. Bliss for a morning of target shooting. I typically carry a 442 or mod 60, but today I awoke with the idea to carry one of my K-frames. I really enjoy their accuracy. That custom leather from Lobo is absolutely the best. No, he isn't paying me squat for the endorsement. Got to give credit where credit is due.

I periodically carry a 3" S&W Model 65. It's been a great gun (since the reversal of some of the previous owner's "improvements").

My only gripe is the stainless which I don't like. Unfortunately, when I bought it, I hadn't seen a 3" Model 13 in ten years of gunshows. On the plus side, when I got it, they were a steal from CDNN.

It's pretty much the ideal combat revolver.

For a long time I used to carry a 3 inch 629 in a fanny pack . It soon became second nature and I felt naked without it, sometimes I swapped the 629 for a 1911 Officers model in the pack. I don't do that anymore though, now its just a .357 pocket revolver .

OK, I am frustrated. I searched the forum and read the FAQs. The above is my first attempt to upload pictures. As you can see, it is pretty lame. How does one attach pictures so they appear in the body of the test like Arisin Wind or Dullh did in their posts above ?

PMK in the running.

Am I the only one who owns and loves the Milt Sparks PMK? It works great for an OWB, but I prefer the IWB SS2.

Nope! I have to admit that my PMK is quite old and I'm having trouble keeping the trigger 'mouth' open for re-holstering. You don't see these often. The PMK rides a little low for me, and I am looking for a good hi-ride OWB for the little Smith. I did want you to know that there are others out here. - 'ole joe.
