N Frame? No. But once in a while I carry a Ruger Super Redhawk snubby in a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake. With a loose-fitting t-shirt or Aloha shirt, it conceals and carries just fine.

That is fine. When I lived in Wyoming, I carried a 5.5" .44 Mag. Redhawk loaded with Randy Garrett 330gr, Hammerheads if I was going into grizzly country and 210gr. Winchester Silver Tips when I was around the two legged predators on my right hip. Back then in Wyoming open carry was OK with lots of people doing it. I sometimes carried my custom Colt 1911 .45 ACP in addition as a back-up gun if I wanted the .44 loaded heavy and social medicine also just in case. Being and old Eagle Scout, I like to be prepared.

I'm 5' 7" and weigh 180#, most days I carry a 327PC snub or a 4" model 58. Both either owb or iwb, I worked 28 yrs as a federal officer and most times had about 30# strapped around my waist, 1 big gun and a couple of reloads is no big deal compared.
Just ordered a new holster for my 4" Pre 29 to replace the one I gave to my son for his 29-3. An A.E Nelson pancake.

Not much anymore, but I used to. I really like my Kramer MSP paddle for that configuration.

Yes sir, never considered carrying a 4" N frame IWB but I figured WTH! I've worn it on walks and a trip up to the Whittington Center this winter and its not as uncomfortable as it sounds.

Jack the Toad, I make my own holsters. But the one from S&W for the 327 carries about as well as I can make.

For homestead carry and deep woods hikes I enjoy carrying my 657PC using an ebay AIWB holster. The snubby barrel is very comfortable, and just the right length so nothing important is jabbed.
The holster in this photo is not the holster that I use, it was a test rig that I snagged for a song to see if I liked carrying an N-frame AIWB. After I liked it, I picked up a more form fitting hard leather holster.

There used to be a small Husky refinery in Cody too. Lots of those small refineries without crackers went the way of the Dodo.
Wyoming has a population density of about 6 people per square mile
Montana is way more crowded with 7 per square mile.
Alaska has 1.3 per sq mile
They are the only 3 states with less than 10 people per sq mile and I am sure most of those people want it to stay that way. Most of those people are the type that mind their own business. I see guns, and it registers of course, that is just situational awareness, but it is whoever's gun and their business, how they want to carry it or even store it. I occasionally see things that don't meet "my standards", but they are my standards, not whoever else's. Unless it is IMMEDIATELY unsafe it ain't my problem or my business. I see a gun sitting somewhere around here, leaning by a door, in a garage, shop, barn or truck I am darn sure going to figure it is loaded and keep my hands off it. My kids knew from a very young age that guns were dangerous and not to be messed with.
I lived in Casper, Wyoming for ten years. I LOVED it!!! I worked out at the Amoco Oil Refinery. Unfortunately, I saw that they were going to shut it down (I had seen it before as my father worked for Amoco Pipeline) so I transferred back to Texas City, Texas where I had seniority. The guys there did not believe me but a year later they shut the Casper Refinery down. The guys I knew that transferred to Texas City then when they saw me asked how I knew? I told them a combination of Sixth Sense and scene it before.
I miss the Rocky Mountains, hearing the Bull Elk Bugle in the fall and the quaking aspen!!!

I generally carry- when not forced to lug tactical Tupperware by my agency- either a 4" 24-3, 625-6 or one of two different 5" 1911s, a 4 3/4" USFA pre-War, or a CZ-75, pre-B, thank you very much. I use Mernickle, Kramer and Tucker&Byrd belts and holsters made by Red Nichols (for the DA revolvers), Kramer (CZ pre-B), Mernickle (SA) and Sparks or Raven (1911s).
This notion that full size guns can't or shouldn't be carried concealed is just bollocks. I have more confidence in the larger calibers and my abilities to hit well and quickly with all of the above mentioned pieces is equal to or much, much better than with the Austrian wonder piece- the wonder to me being why they're as popular as they are other than being cheaper for mass issue. The CZ just has superior ergonomics to so many other high cap pistols.
Plus, it just feels better carrying something that actually feels nice in the hand, looks good and is something one can take pride in. There. I said it.

Dale Fricke makes a great kydex holster AIWB that I use for a 4" 629 V Comp or the same one but longer for the 5" 629 classic. Craft makes an AIWB that I use for the TRR8. And another Craft for the 325 Thunder Ranch. Love the N frame

I am going to look at the Dale Fricke kydex holster if he makes it for my revolver (thanks for the recommendation). Would you do me a great kindness and look at Tucker Gun Leather's "Texas Heritage Revolver" Holster - "Texas Heritage" IWB for Revolvers | Premium IWB Holsters | Tucker Gun Leather and honestly tell me what you think. It is the holster I am currently considering for my Apex Tactical Specialties S&W 625-8 JM 4" .45 ACP. Thanks, Rocky

I did this once. I went on a cross country trip so I purchased an El Paso Saddlery cross draw holster and wore a jacket over my Model 27 Classic as I drove. It wasn't bad in the car but it was weird at rest stops.
I don't think EPS makes that model of holster any longer but they probably could.

I've carried shoulder holstered a Redhawk in 44 mag, one 5.5" barrel in the summertime, one 7.5" barrel in the wintertime. I did for many decades. I have shoulder holsters from 5" to 10.5" barrels. More comfortable carrying in a shoulder holster. I use Suede lined holster not to ruin the guns finish

I'm 5'8". When I was a bit chubby at 180#, I had no problem concealing a 4" M29 or 3" M629 OWB in a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake. I wear shorts and a untucked button down shirt year round. They are heavy guns, but the right belt and holster makes them comfortable to carry IMO.
In the last year I've put on another 10 lbs and I've started pocket carrying more. I honestly don't know if my new improved gut will allow me to carry OWB anymore without buying some oversized shirts, which I don't love the idea of.
On the plus side, I started jogging and watching what I eat, then almost broke my ankle so now I'm sedentary again for a while...
