Who likes snakes?

I backed these recurve limbs on my wife's bow with a nice set of Prairie rattler skins. The pic doesn't show it too well but they have a nice green hue to them.

Not the Lord's favorite.. nor is it mind.

King James Bible-Genesis 3:14
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Here's my pet snake. All he does is sleep or try to escape. Feed him a few mice every 2 weeks, give him water and he's good. I get him out for a stretch on a regular basis but never take my eye off him. He's a great conversation starter when company comes over.

Red meets black, you're ok Jack, Red meets yellow you're a dead fellow, right?

I sent my son a picture of his Ball Python's first egg (female is a "Pastel" and the male is a "Spider" pattern) and took a couple shots of his other snakes...

Red meets black is the Scarlet King snake banding as shown above.
Red meets yellow is the banding for the poisonous Coral snake and it behooves you not to mix the two up.

This cutie was lying on my asphalt driveway when I came home from work one day. It's lucky I saw it in time to stop. It was in no hurry to move, I had to get out of the car and nudge it with the toe of my shoe to get it to move into the woods.

Looks like a Black Racer. Pretty cool shot.

As pet no way, Colt revolvers "Snakes" too expensive for me. Running in the yard just as long as they are NOT poisonous A-OK by me.

Beautiful critter, and a helpful neighbor.

Mr. snake

Any rattlesnake in my neck of the woods..... will have to
shake hands with the "Governor" X 6 and maybe an extra
hand shake for good luck. Bye-Bye now!
