How about bringing back the Model 16 as a .327 Magnum? (I wish I'd bought one back when they were available as a .32 H&R Magnum, but I couldn't afford it at the time.)

If they're producing .327 Mag defensive guns, why not add a target K frame in this caliber too?

In spite of the fact that we, my wife & I, already have three .327 Fed Mag's between us, with another on the way, I would go for a K Frame .327 in a heartbeat.........

i would if they don't have the idiot lock or mim parts or the firing pin in the frame. will never happen in my preferred form.

If they make it ,then i'll have to buy it . I had a m-16 in 32 mag. that I traded off once in a moment of stupidity .

I have a K-22 (pre 17) and a 14-2, but very little real hope of ever acquiring a K-32 or a Model 16; so I'd be happy to purchase a new one in .327 Mag.

Please encourage others to post in this thread and maybe somebody at S&W will see it...

I have a 16-4 in 32 magnum I love it and would jump all over a K frame 327 magnum. I like the 32's fun to shoot, and accurate the 327 magnum brings this caliber up to its true potential.

Hello
Got One ! Bought New in box around 2000 & shown is my 16-4 that I sent to Hamilton Bowen, In Friendsville, Tennessee just right down the road from me , late last fall for his .327 Magnum conversion. At $95.00 it was a No Brainer and this gun shoots with Lazer accuracy. I am not Interested in anything New S&W makes so it made total sense to me having this old classic made into a Federal .327 Magnum. It also still shoots the .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long and .32 H&R Magnum with Excellent accuracy as Bowen match's the cylinder throats when he is finished with the conversion, to insure it's accuracy. get ya one and have it converted, There aint nothing like it...;) Hammerdown

That's a great idea, but it's not exactly easy to find a donor gun. It'd really be cool to get a spare cylinder and let him modify it. That way, it'd be quick and easy to return a "not so common" revolver back to original condition.
