I've been looking for a deal on a Shield 9 - NTS for a while and got a killer deal (for my area) at the Gun Show this A.M.

This has been a great day already.

First, I got to the show very early and was the first person in the Parking Lot, the attendant said she wasn't ready to make change yet so she waived the $5.00 fee and said enjoy the show:). I was also the first in line. Had to renew my NRA membership anyway, so I did at their table in the Lobby and the rep gave me a free pass to the show($9.00) for renewing:).

Then, I enter the show and Quantico Tactical had their booth right there in front. I go over and see a Shield 9-NTS listed for $339:eek:. I fondled her a bit and of course tried to haggle the price but they said it was already reduced for the show. But I already knew it was a great price from shopping around. I asked how many they had with them and they said "just one" ... I said "wrap it up" :D I paid $362 OTD without any Military / 1st Responders discount and couldn't be happier. Spent shell fire date is 1/7/15.

After walking the rest of the show, I found the listed prices of the very few other NTS models there ranging from $389 - $449. Best OTD online price I could find was $380, but all out of stock. Bud's had them for $400 ($422 OTD for me) but OOS also. So I am thrilled with my purchase.

I already have a UBG Striker holster on order for it, gonna get some Talon Grips, and we'll see about Night Sights. But for now, I've gotta get this puppy cleaned up and get her to the range. Sorry for being so long winded, but thanks for listening.

Congrats. I'm sure you'll really like the Shield. Since you went to the show so early, you'll be home in time to fire a few rounds.

Mine has the safety but I never use it. It's the best concealed carry gun I've ever owned and shoots everything I've tried. I've put about 800 rounds through it so far and carry it everyday.

My Glocks and 1911s have been resting in the safe since I got it.

Have fun.

I can just hear your excitement, congratulations. What show as it in Virginia? I am up in NOVA and did not see any around here.

You got a good price.
I just got back from my local gun show and man, everyone there was treating the Shield like they were Gold, asking right around $400.
Heck... those that had KT PF-9s had THEM priced just under $300!!
I dunno if anyone would have come down if I'd have tried to dicker with them, but since the only thing I was looking for was a Blackhawk convertible, I didn't feel like messing with them about a Shield.

Congrats and go shoot that Shield!! :)

Yea, it is a great feeling to find what you want for a price that you like. I am thinking you were grinnin' from ear to ear. :D Congrats!

And you were on a roll getting in for nothing ta boot. A fine day all around.

Congrats! My son got one from them last month on the mil discount ($309 shipped plus $20 for the transfer). It's a great shooter and excellent carry gun. First thing I'm spending my tax refund on LOL.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah, it was nice to have a good day for a change. Been having a lot of crappy ones the last few months, but today seemed to overshadow all the bad ones :D.

jackvs1,
The show was at The Scope in Downtown Norfolk. It was a pretty small show. The Hampton & Mechanicsville shows I've been to in the past have been much larger.
