Who’s carrying a revolver these days? Let’s show them off...

My 49 has been finding its way into my pocket every day lately.

It's beautiful, how could you not carry it?

Here are a couple of my favorite carry revolvers.

These two have found a steady place in my rotation. Whether it's the PC 637 in my pocket or the 649-3 in a simply rugged pancake, I always feel prepared.

I regularly carry my 442 in a Milt Sparks pocket holster........

I recently received my Milt Sparks for my 442. I love the holster and the way it breaks up the outline of the 442, however, if I am not careful with my technique it wants to leave my pocket more than any other pocket holster I have tried.

Well, I took the time to crack the code (at least for me).

If I twist outward a little while still in my pocket, the holster stays every time.

I had a pocket holster that would come out of one of my pockets that happens to be large. I glued a piece of very aggressive Emory Cloth on it. That did the trick.

My LE career started and ended with revolvers. On duty, a K frame 38 or 357. Off duty usually a 36 or 36-1. At some point I built a 45 ACP revolver and for a short while that was my revolver on and off duty. Since the 80s an ACP revolver has been my EDC. At first I used a Bianchi 5BH, then a Safariland M29. The Safariland got carried so much I have had it restitched so I could continue to use it. Then I found the Sunday holster (you might know it as a Brill copy). I like it so much I have several versions.

Here are some of my ACP revolvers. The two on the left and the bottom right are ones I have carried the most.

66-8 on right hip, 66 on left hip, 642 on ankle, 640 in console, 637 in glove box, 66-5 in coat pocket, shockwave in passenger seat, AR in back seat. M14 in trunk. 200 rounds of 357, 100 rounds of 38, 25 slugs, 6 30 round mags of 5.56. 6 20 round mags of 308. If I showed you what they look like I would ........, well, no need getting into that.

Strayed to a Kimber, 1 more shot then the 640 I carried. Kimber is with me 24-7. Andy Horvath is finishing a 3" full lug K frame in .327 that may replace the Kimber. Need to see how a "K" carries. Larry
