Would Anyone Rather Carry a Ruger LCR than their J Frame??

Depends on my mood. I like both. I have a PC 637 that I put smooth wood boot grips on that slide in and out of a pocket very easily, with a pocket holster, of course.

But I am also a big fan of the 327 Federal Mag and haven't been able to get one of the J frames in this chambering for any reasonable amount of money for a carry gun that will be full of lint by day 2. So I do carry a 327 LCR sometimes too.

Mostly, though, I carry an auto in 9. I'm new here, so that might be heresy. It all goes back to what I'm wearing/the weather/my mood.

It's ok. I carry a semi auto in 9mm also. But it's not by choice :p. Only at work. It's a revolver when I have the choice

Is this a trick question?

To me kind of a dumb question on a Smith Wesson Forum. Were not talking Ruger, were talking Smith. If I was into Ruger I would be on a Ruger forum. This is pointless. Why not make it, Glock, Taurus, or any other gun manufacture that can't hold a candle to Smith. Why Ruger?

I carried one today in a front pocket holster. It's a LCR in .38 Special as I felt the .357 extra weight wouldn't carry as well without sagging my pocket. Unlike others I have no problem short stroking the trigger. I still have a pre locked 642 though.

Hell no...I'll stick with this:
