I have a 6" no dash 586 and I have been considering swapping the barrel for a 4"
Well I recently bought a 4" barrel but would like some input before I get them swapped.
Should I or shouldn't I?

If you have the barrel, and can get it done reasonably why not?
You will likely find the gun points better and to be better balanced.
