Xtreme Bullet Ordering + Unhappy

A bullet mould solves that problem. A few items from Lee Precision lets you become the master of your bullet supply !

I imagine California has lot to do with the slow delivery. We have new ammo registration requirements coming up and everyone I know is stocking up big time. I bought about a 10-year supply of reloading components in the past two months. Our poor UPS guy says he has never moved so many ammo/component shipments in his career.

There have been a few times I have let my stocks of bullets get dangerously low. I have since learned from the experience and keep enough to fill the supply line for at least a year. In the last great component shortage, bullets were the only real bright spot. I suspect that many now have ample supplies of powder and primers and are now looking at bulk buys of bullets. This is probably why XTREME is slow shipping. But we all like to see rows of boxes of bullets on our shelves, I'm no exception.

I use a bunch of XTREMES and buy direct and sometimes they are a bit slow to deliver but as others have said I generally wait for one of their special before ordering so I expect it. But if I were only planning on buying 500 bullets I just go to a LGS that stocks them. It's different when your buying 5000 bullets.

One more for the "be patient." I have purchased from Xtreme for years, good bullets and good price. Ordering bullets from the manufacturer is different than ordering from Midway (for example).

Build an inventory, order when on sale, life is good.

In the past I've almost run out, had to call around to find a box, and asked for the store to put my name on it... "I'll be right down to pick it up." Whew...

Building an inventory is more pleasant.

I ordered some 45ACP and 44Mag bullets from Xtreme on Black Friday. I don't recall the exact date I received them however it was worth the wait - very fine looking bullets. It did take longer than normal due to the holidays and I'm certain the flood of orders they received related to their discount. I have routinely used Berry's bullets however I believe Xtreme bullets will be a good alternative.

I ordered some X-treme 38 wadcutters on Black Friday night. I received them today. I was far from out so no big deal.

Well the good news came today....not the bullets only an email saying they were shipped out today,20 days after placing the order.

I ordered 4000 bullets over Black Friday, 4 different calibers. They came in 4 different shipments, with the last 1000 45's, 230 gr this last Monday. I know in advance the shipping times will be long during their big sales, no big deal for me. I'm usually buying before they are needed, so shipping delays are not an issue

Like most of the members I am still waiting for my Xtreme order. I ordered on 28 November and have not received the bullets yet. However, I used the 15% off, free shipping, and an additional 10% off by using a promotional code (CodeBlue I think) for a total of 25% off and free shipping. It is worth the wait.

So when I placed my order for the advertised discount of 15%, I was unaware of an extra promotional code. Can I assume code blue was directed to our LEO's? My wife is a retired LEO, how does one become aware of an extra promotional code? Thanks in advance! :D

Military/ LEO Discount

A buddy ordered on 11/28 it finally shipped be here next week

A little over a year and a half from the last post on this thread and XTreme Bullets is still having shipping issues. I placed an order two weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped.

Why?

Well it seems XTreme is having some Chapter 11 difficulties. It would've been nice to have mentioned that on their web page or during the checkout process that while shipping may not happen for a few weeks, or longer, your credit card will be promptly processed.

The only plated/jacketed bullet I reload is 9mm--I cast and Hi-Tek coat all other calibers. So the one time I try a (new to me) company and this is what happens. . . .

Kinda reminds me of the old GunPal, aka Gpal nonsense that occurred a decade ago.
