You should not carry a gun.

I admit it! I'm So sorry....I went to the bathroom, and I c c c carried my Airweight. I don't know what I was thinking....
My name is Jimmy, and I'm a concealed carrier...:(

What the heck are you doing with a gun at home? Haven't you been paying attention?

It has long been established that a gun in the home is much more likely to kill the gun owner or family member than a criminal.

When you leave the gun at home (pursuant to the List) that's only for when you aren't there. When you get back home it should be tossed out in the backyard so it's no longer "in the home". Duh!

If you're using an outhouse you'll be ok to carry... I think.

Hey Phil

I've got it.....Stay at home and never go to the bathroom. You're good to go.

And whatever you do, don't go out and cut the lawn. It's just not safe.

I'm learning that there are so many times and places I should not carry a gun I'm going to have to start making a list.

Carrying a gun in the home or having access to a gun in certain rooms like a bathroom indicates paranoia or otherwise suffering a mental disorder.

Never carry a gun if you might have to stop somewhere that requires the gun being left in the vehicle. Leave the gun at home.

Don't carry a gun to social gatherings. Someone at the party might be offeded by guns. Leave gun in vehicle before going in. Ooooops don't do that either.

To bear arms is a God given right, but carrying a gun in a church is profane.

Do not open carry. Only idiots open carry.

Buddy, you just ain't wearing the right concealment holster.

Hmmmmmmmmm..........

Amazing what folks will argue about.

Like.......unalienable rights..........

Life:
OK, if I have an unalienable right to life, one would assume that means I have an unalienable right to defend said life against unwarranted attempts to take it.

Liberty:
So, I have the right to be free. Reckon that means I'm free to keep said life? Defend it?

Pursuit of Happiness:
You won't be happy if your life is senselessly taken. You will no longer be free.

So, one might say it would be necessary to defend one's life to remain alive, free, and in pursuit of happiness.

Complicated, ain't it? :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

NEVER carry at the lake.
Apparently, it causes boating accidents. ;)

Carry in a church

Is it profane to carry in a church? If one of the nine who were murdered had carried, maybe more would have lived. And who's to say terrorist might not pick a church to make a statement? I know a number of people who carry in my church and I don't have a problem at all with it. Regards, Elliot45

Wasn't there just a shooting in a church??? Why not carry in your chosen place of worship?

I hate having to carry anywhere - - - but I cannot risk not being able to protect the loved ones in my life so if you see me not carrying I am in the shower, or pool - - - I chose to not go where prohibited - - - I was forced to shoot an escaping prisoner at Camp Lejune in 1969 - - - he died in spite of our best efforts and I hope that is the last time I have to shoot anyone but that does not mean I am unwilling.

Yes I carry at church and hope that I never have the need to use it but in this world you never know!

Bearing a gun is not a god given right. I dont see anywhere where the constitution states that its a god given right.

This thread has gone far afield. I expect it will get locked. However, for the record, while the foregoing statement is true on its face, the Bill of Rights being the specific focus of the comment, it is clear from 200 years of history that any rights identified in the Constitution, especially the BofR, are GUARANTEED by the Constitution, but they are natural rights, or "God given" rights that preceded the Constitution, they are not granted by the Constitution. That is so well settled in legal theory it should never actually come up except from people who have not done the required reading on the subject.

Gun people should know this inside and out.

To bear arms is a God given right, but carrying a gun in a church is profane.

THAT, my friends, is a total error. Maybe it's very sad that we have to carry guns in our respective houses of worship but South Carolina proves the point - there are bad people out there who will PROFANE your church - and you get to decide if you want to be prepared to stop that profanation when and if it occurs. My clergy know that I carry a gun every day, even at prayer, and they're content in that knowledge. YMMV.
