What's happening with this......guy? Anyone hear any recent news? Is he still in a Peruvian jail? Have the Holloways been given any more info? I'd hate to see this guy murdered by a fellow inmate...............before the Holloways get some answers, and hopefully their daughter's remains. Anyone heard any news?

The very worst thing possible has happened to this toad-he has slipped from the front page of humanity to but a sorlid footnote. And there he will remain for the rest of his miserable life-no casino's, no Greta van Susteren interviews, no nothing but a third world prison where nobody gives a damn. day after day after miserable day.................until one day he has rotted enough and dies. A far worse punishment for him than going out with a blaze of glory at a worldwide front page execution with the do gooders chanting "don't kill him-it's barbaric" on the front page of every newspaper and on every TV in the world.

I've never been to Peru. I also never want to. But I'd imagine the stabbed guard and his coworkers are pretty liberal and understanding toward their inmate. I'd even guess they go home at night and think up ways to make him feel more comfortable in his cell, and ways for him to feel better about himself.

There are times I wonder if his other cell mates feel honored to have such a famous guy in their midst, so they share food and laughs with him.
