Our side of this debate must be careful when taking a position on these issues. It's getting more difficult to simply say "It's our constitutional right, period, end of discussion". Many people are asking why, for instance, can it be easier for almost anyone to own a high powered weapon (think AK, M15, etc) than it is to purchase a car? I've had occasion to wonder this as well at our local range when young people show up to shoot such weapons and have no idea (1) how to sight it in, (2) clean and maintain it, and (3) handle it safely (I've left the range at such times). I support the 2nd A but more restrictions are coming and we need to be able to rebut those who would take away this right. Again, if we simply hide behind the 2nd A that won't be enough. We have numerous amendments to the constitution that have, over the years, seen limitations placed on them. This is no different.
