M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Nice looking firearms everyone! I picked mine up on the PSA deal this week. It lasted about 12 hours before I painted the stock, mag and my spare magpul grip. I just wanted to have some fun with this gun as my sport is all black.

Looks great! What paint did you use?

Too much fun. It's taken too long for me to post pics of my own. I keep telling myself I'll do it when I'm done modding... Hahaha.... Right.... "Done"

What kind of rail covers are those? They look awesome!

NICE!!!!!! what type of aftermarket is the rear pistol grip, really like the look of that, possibly would suit my medium sized hands.

That rear grip is a Hogue overmolded grip. I use them too and like them very much.

First time poster here. I normally frequent ARFCOM but there's not a whole lot of 15-22 action over there.

I've always been a fan of the MK18 builds but never wanted to deal with the 2 stamp hassle. The MP15-22 lets me satisfy this urge.

Please excuse the bad photo.

LT FUG
Kinetitech Shroud
Krylon Paint Job

I'm looking to add MBUS and an ambi selector in the near future. I might even throw a PEQ15 type clone for giggles.

Here's mine

Bushnell scope, Houge grip, fab defense, forgrip, beamshot laser, keniti tec barrel shroud, next up, carbon fiber hydrodip stock and handguard.

Finally got a red dot. My TRS25 and risers (got both .83" & 1.00") showed up yesterday, and then I picked up an M&P 9 today. And it's raining in nor-cal finally! Not a bad weekend at all, can't wait to try the TRS and the pistol out tomorrow. :D

Great looking weapon..
I have several PA Mircos.. How do you like the LT751 mount? Does it give co-witness or lower 1/3?

I've also been thinking about getting a B5. I'm so used to Magpul CTRs. What's your thoughts on the B5? I've been real please with my Bravo Company grips.

Update time already. Magpul party is complete for now with the arrival of the CTR and MS3 sling. It's shooting pretty well w/ the bug buster, at some point the replacement for the funky Barska red dot will show up and I'll try that. I managed to react quickly enough to order 4 short 10rd mags last night, so I should be seeing those soon. This thing is such a blast to shoot, and I'm enjoying learning a bunch about it on this great site. Here's a couple of photos, one w/ the new bits.

What make and model scope is that?

The 751 is absolute cowitness for an Aimpoint micro. However, the PA micro is a bit taller than the Aimpoint so therefore it would be a bit off. As I understand the 660HK is cowitness with the PA micro.

I've been pleased with the B5 so far. I've always put LMT SOPMODs on my rifles because I love the cheek weld and solid lock up. I figured I'd try the B5 to see how it compares and I must say I am happy with the results,

The CTR is a great stock but I prefer a cheek weld. Once I tried the SOPMOD I was sold. There is also the B5 Bravo stock which is similar to the SOPMOD minus the tube storage. It would be a nice balance between a CTR type stock and full blown SOPMOD.

Hey guys, I've been a huge fan of these forums forever and decided to share my build, finally. I'm really happy with how it turns out!
I may add some things here and there and I'm also looking into new rail covers if anyone has any suggestions. Hope you like it!

I'm getting ready to put a different scope on my 15-22 and wondered what you guys think about this scope?

I wonder how it compares with the bug buster? Any have any experience with the Redfield? I like the BDC on the Redfield. I currently have a Nikon P22 fixed 4X but wanted a Mil-Dot or MOA type reticule. I don't really need illumination.
