What age group frequents what forum?

Well, at 75, I do not visit any particular forum here, I click on New Posts and open any threads that seem interesting. That said, I do not act like I am 75, I still buggy board at the beach, still take pretty good photographs, have a Facebook account, a Twitter account, a Flicker account, & belong to three different forums.

You are only young once....but you can be immature all your life. I went years without buying a gun but I bought a new Shield last year. Heck, I don't even but green bananas at my age, but guns are different. I try not to think like an old person and sure try not to act like one. So I open any thread to any forum that looks interesting

Over 50 and act like I'm 8.

I peruse several areas of the Forum but seem to land in the Lounge quite frequently. Although, since I've recently decided to start a new hobby of reloading I spend more and more time in there reading and absorbing info from the knowledgeable folks. The 4sale area gets my attention at least a couple times a day....just in case someone offers something I just have to have! ;)

I think I like the dog and broccoli areas the best overall!!

I like this S&W forum because there's a lot of revolver lovers here too, and it makes me feel like I'm at really cool gun shop just hanging out with knowledgeable shooters.

That's exactly why I'm here. I look at this forum usually several times throughout the day, and always learn something new. A few times I've been able to help, but more often than not I learn. There're guys here who've forgotten more than I know!

I'm 54, have been a gun nut my entire life, but in the last 10 years or so have leaned mainly toward DA revolvers and lever action rifles. I have others, of course, but those are my favorites. I've reloaded since I was 19, but I'm still learning there, too.

I've been to other forums, but this is by far the friendliest, most intelligent, and entertaining that I've been to yet. I go to the Colt forum occasionally, not to participate, but to glean info about certain models that I like. I don't do facebook, I think it's a huge waste of time, but I spend lots of time here.

There's a gun store in Bremerton Washington, Boerner Firearms, where in the back of the store there's a couple benches and chairs, and a big coffee pot with free coffee. There's usually a group of old timers sitting around discussing guns and other stuff, and anyone's welcome. I get that same feeling here.

I'm 31 I'm mostly in the M&P 15-22LR topic area or the off topic area reading up on the threads. I mostly read the threads instead of replying unless a thread catches my eye.

I'm 44.

While here, I spend most of my time in the lounge, for the entertaining and sometimes touching stories and the 1896-1961 section, which is my area of interest. Although I don't comment too often, I check in frequently; often several times a day.

Although I'm a member of several other gun forums, I don't really visit them anymore. The endless arguments over guns and the effectiveness of the various calibers just gets to be too much. I've always found it interesting that the guys who've actually used a gun tend to be very quiet about it while the guys who have never shot anybody have all the answers. Even here, I tend to stay away from the concealed carry section for that reason.

Beyond that, I belong to a bushcraft/primitive camping forum, occasionally visit a Coleman lantern collector's forum and last Fall, I joined an antique radio forum.

I've bought three guns at Boerner Firearms. When I first started going in there, I didn't feel particularly welcome. One time I walked in several months after having bought a model 36 and a model 51 from them. The owner referred to me as the Smith & Wesson guy. I felt like I'd been accepted into a club.:)

I still use a flip-phone. It has no internet and I cancelled texting.
I've never been on face book, don't tweet, and I use gasoline to fuel
my truck. I'll use power tools but prefer hand tools.
I'm only 43, but I hate change.

On second thought, change is a part of life. It's progress that I hate.
It leads to too many choices.

Although I finally broke down and bought a smart phone, I prefer hand tools too.:)

Oh boy,are you gonna be tough to be around in another 25 years! ;):D

58, spend a lot of time in the lounge, in the 1896-1961, and the 1961 to 1980. Love cruisin' the want ads. I hit the 2a once in a while. I've owned a bunch of ARs, a couple AKs, a ton of the G words, and my fair share of 1911s. My favorites are revolvers though, and Smiths in particular. I won't throw out a Ruger, but I think Colts are mostly overrated.....except maybe the DS and of course the 1911. Just my opinion though, and I learned a long time ago that opinions are like.........body parts.

I browse for info on the M&P's pistols & the 1911's. Can't do rifles due to a shoulder issue. I find myself in the lounge mostly. Best guess on age would be fifty+. The lounge is a great source of information and humor. Best of all, the discussions are (sometimes heated) but always civil. Well, mostly.

I'm but 36, act 20's, look 20's, and feel 20's, unless it's biting cold out...then my bones and joints remind me that I ain't. Sometimes my back makes me feel like l'm 80 if I don't treat it just right.

I've done about everything I've wanted to do in life, achieved most every goal I had set in mind...about the only thing missing is a "real" job. While I'm not getting rich, we get by, and I've got most everything I've wanted and more. Hell, if I won the lottery I wouldn't have much use for it, it would only complicate the simple life I enjoy.

I have everything from new AR's to a couple old schooley wheelguns. I like practicality and ease of use.

I have a beautiful wife that loves me, ride a motorcycle every day, shoot in my back yard whenever I get the inclination, and have a young son that amuses, surprises, and challenges me every day.

Though I may forget at times, every day is a blessing.

People on this forum are very opinionated, but civil, and most seem to have a good sense of humor. It's rare to see the bickering and immature battles of internet status seen elsewhere.

I visit different forums daily. My interest in each forum is mostly based on the brand of guns that I own. Some forums are definitely more interesting and informative than others.
I spend a lot of time on a Texas gun talk forum and XD Springfield forum, Ruger forum and this forum. The Glock forum and AR forums, not so much. I have a CHL, so there are a couple of those type forums I visit from time to time.

Retired Army vet in my 60's. I have firearms ranging from 22 pistols to an 8mm Mauser. Most of my time is spent on center fire pistols these days, but I would love to have an M&P 15 Sport or a Colt 6920. The Mini-14 will have to do for now.
