M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Even with $200 for a tax stamp, it's probably cheaper to SBR here in the states. It just takes forever.

Just a few pics of mine I've had it about a month or so. Accuracy is iffy so far using golden bullets anyone else seeing this with there rifles? Im going to try some cci and see if it improves.

Great looking gun, I thought mine was short as 7.5". Now if my stamp for my 22 suppressor would come in.

Can just came in today, SWR Spectre II, 4" barrel
Just waiting on my SBR stamp

It looks great, but i wouldn't have cut the barrel until I got the SBR paperwork back. The ATF supposedly considers a completed upper or even the parts to complete it possession with intent to construct. If you have a pistol lower, you are okay. If rifle only, not so much.

Thanks for the info. The lower isn't even in my possession at the moment for this reason.

Almost there!!

Here it is, almost there now..... until I see the next potential mod.... ;)

Have my eye on a Scorpion Grip and then I think I may be somewhere where I want to be. :)

Definitely will not be dropping an expensive trigger mod in as I am not comp shooting so saving of several hundred $ there.

Then may have to start looking for next project :D

Still not decided on color fill or not?????

Looks great! I did the tacticrayola color fill on mine and then changed it a little. I did sort of a minimal job. Then I got my M&P9 and decided not to do anything to it. I guess what I'm saying is if you aren't sure, do it w/ crayons first...they're easily removed/changed if you want to play around with it. You can always do a longer lasting job w/ paint or nail polish later.

i still don't know whether to go with the AFG or the vertical grip

Keith,

See if your LGS will put one on a rifle for you to see if you like the feel. I found them so comfortable that I have the AFG on my 15-22, and an AFG2 on my Kel-Tec KSG (needed this model due to clearance).
