Rusty, do you remember Pure Prairie League(Amy)? Many more years ago than I care to state here, I was in a band that opened for them in Lubbock. It was an interesting experience, to say the least.

I never had the opportunity to hear the Eagles live, which I really regret. Poco...I heard them several times...a great live band.

Thanks for the music Rusty, you hit some good ones! Hadn't heard any Poco in a long time. Funny how far and fast you can drift on a song, I am not much of a" the good old days " person preferring the here and now,so I guess I am always surprised a little when music drags up those old memories.

Good morning everyone!

I knew them when Vince Gill was in the band. After he left Tim and Larry Goshorn took over. I have played with them many times over the years. When the band dissolved, they became the Goshorn Bros. and I sat in with them as well.

Larry and I played golf together. He was a 6 handicap and a power drinker. I would have to sip my beers to let him catch up.:D

Larry and Tim are two of the funniest, most humble guys you could meet. Proud to call them friends.

I must be "the kiss of death". Late last night, a thread was started, by ***** and I had noticed earlier that it was his birthday. So I responded and wished him "happy birthday".

I checked today to see his response and the thread had been deleted and he was suspended.

If any of you have a birthday coming up, I'll just wave at you from the balcony.:confused::confused:

Seems like when the 16,000 mark was hit things seemed to have really slowed down here in the drift! I'm tending to believe everyone seems to be on vacation!,at least to some extent anyway! or some are really getting in the OT!
