Well one thing's for sure, you folks have been busy as a bunch of bees today. I came on this morning and then had to read I think four pages to get here this evening. You even got around to the debate but not the real one. 9MM OR 40SW.
Well what do we talk about now? Seems the aliens captured the gnomes, then the aliens burned up, the clowns left in the limo and I forget what else happened.
Seems the ghost ship is still out there but have you noticed there doesn't appear to be any ghost's on it? I guess the wind blew them away.

Is there a debate between the 9mm luger/parabellium round and the 40cal? Wait one minute the debate for decades between the 9mm luger round and the 45cap never ended yet.
The only thing the 9mm has going for it is the double stack mags and fire power. Firepower means how many bullets in the magazine. The amount of shots. It's not the stopping power or killing power of the 9mm it lacks in those two things. No question the 9mm is out of the debate. The 9mm never impressed me power and stopping wise. A side arm for hunting I don't think so.
The Leos had 38's with 6 rounds to the bad guys 9mm with 18 rounds. They weren't out gunned power wise. Just the amount of shots fired.
40 vs 45?
It's between the 40cal and the 45acp. What do you guys think?
Is the 45acp outdated?
Is the 45acp when compared to the 40cal similar to comparing the 45 long colt to the 44 Magnum.
Is it a lighter bullet, more speed vs a heavier bullet, slower speed?

Oh and on the other note I have both the 40 and the 45 and much prefer shooting the 45 because of the "snap" of the 40 in recoil. Both make a good SD round, just depends on the size of the weapon and therefore recoil and ability to get back on target.
It doesn't matter what's under my bed or on the ceiling or hiding in the closet. None of it is as scary as what's going on in my head.

Well I enjoyed all the stuff you folks posted today but it is getting close to my bedtime. The cigar is done and so is the little drink I had to go with it so I am relaxed and ready for the bed.
