There's that, too. My point was that a test rig does not grip gun like a human. Looking at the number of people who complain of slide bite that I cannot replicate, I can only assume that grip varies greatly. A machine rig does not do that.
My guess is along the lines of Triggernosis, but that those dozen or so Beta Test subjects were all very experienced shooters that (similar to Hickock45) can pick up almost any handgun and NOT have grip related problems with it.
The p365 has been problematic from the get go, even with experienced shooters. They initially blamed the issues on the weather, the wrong lube and limp-wristing. HickOK45 did have a malfunction on camera, but failed to even mention it, so who knows if he had already experienced others.

I’ve purchased around 15 handguns in the last 4 years searching for the elusive perfect gun, both ccw and duty size. I think my search is over and my wallet agrees. Duty size sigs are quality but high bore access and chunky. I simply shoot Glocks and M&Ps better. The G43 is too small in the grip although i shot it well. I like the feel of the larger Shield magazine grip and can hide it well. I had all 3 Shield calibers due to the $100 sale plus rebate. I sold the 40 to a cop buddy as a BUG and kept the 45 because it has the same ammo count and I like the impulse bettter, and I shoot it better. I’m keeping the 9 because I’m invested in several holsters, magazine holders and around 8 magazines, and the wife claims it as her own. The P365 sounds good but I’m done searching for the next best thing that comes along. The Shields have a proven record to boot.

Interesting first tweet last week was

If it were truly grip issues, why make tweaks?

Hmm, atleast one gun smith in vid above says it was likely contributory.

Asking folk to use different grip styles for different guns? Telling them to change their beer or to stop driving their SUV like a Corvette is probably easier.

I think what he is not saying is that they have shaved off the sides of the barrel housing where the rounds sits after feeding....(this is where the barrel wear has been showing up)..
so at this point I don't know if that will weaken the barrel or not????????time will tell....plus new recoil spring..?????...
I will not consider this gun until 6 to 8 months after re-release..
If all goes well for 8 months after I will take another look at it...
Not one to jump on new designs or new technology until it proves itself.....Hope it works just perfect....probably be a
good carry gun if it works.....
