LIke most gun enthusiasts, I also like precision mechanical items. I do wear a Tag Heuer, and have previously had a Rolex and a Omega Seamaster. But Recently I have decided to restore my Grandfathers Elgin gold pocket watch. There happens to be a local shop that has a couple of master watchmakers that even have there own designed watch they build from scratch. It is a pretty watch with a machined surface, and the Rotary International emblem engraved on the back. ( He was an original member of out local group about 100 years ago). The cost to totally refurb it, I could buy a fairly nice, but not luxurious, watch. They said it is in the Que, but will be mid March before it gets done. This is the only picture I have of it handy.
The watch hasn't run for over 50 years.
