In the TV series Monk—the anal-retentive crime solver—he explained that he always used a drink coaster with another underneath it, as a backup. When asked why there was another coaster under the "backup", he replied, "That's the backup to the backup."

NAA .22 revolver. The third gun, hopefully.

Years ago Two customers in a Florida Restaurant Stopped a robbery by shooting one robber with a NAA 22. His partner dropped him at a hospital and that's how they were caught. They are fun little guns and better than nothing but, I carry no less than a couple J-Frames.

NAAs are cool guns. I own a couple, but it is easy to misplace the little buggers.

Like this one, which my adorable pink haired daughter forgot was in her purse when she decided to stop in at a federal building to check on how to apply for a small business loan.

D'oh!

From a strictly legal standpoint this falls into the same category as that married attorney couple who pulled guns on the crowd in their gated community.

Depending on the exact wording of the laws in that state this could easily be brandishing a firearm and punishable as a felony.

While I understand the urge to defend one's self, pulling a gun on a loud crowd of protestors is going to legally end up bad. Almost all states have wording about using deadly force, and pointing a loaded gun IS deadly force, in self defense against a threat of death or serious injury. I don't see that.

If the local DA wanted to make a name for themselves they could file on that guy.

IMPOSSIBLE!!! All of the Internet Experts agree that you need a double-stack 9mm Pistol with at least 3 spare magazines to fend off an attack by an unruly mob!

I refuse to believe that a diminutive NAA Mini Revolver could ever dissuade someone from attacking, much less incapacitate someone, especially after I sunk all of my money into my new carry gun, a Calico Liberty III with three 100 round drum magazines!

Wait, were they Crackerjack Boys? Because if not then that's why, only caramel corn addicts are unstoppable killing machines, so had that man been faced by the Crackerjack Boys, then that NAA Mini Revolver would have been completely ineffective against their skintanium armor, a genetic mutation which only occurs from years of eating caramel corn, snorting bath salts, and existing only within the realms of the minds of paranoid, delusional Keyboard Commandos.

Being overrun by an armed mob is not a threat of death or serious injury?

"During the encounter both patrons and protesters brandished firearms," police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley told Fox News.
