All I know, is that is a lot colder this December, than it was last year.

I finally had to go buy a new propane tank, get it filled and then go
to harbor Freight and buy a Weed Burner, so I could go home and

Thaw out the drain, down spout, that had froze up and was not letting
the water drain, since it was frozen from the ground, up to inside the drain pipe !!

I finally got a 4-5" chunk of ice to come out of the drain and melt all the ice on the ground.

These days with the "Highs" below 40* are getting old, mostly for
this drain on the shady side of the house !!

Hope everyone is doing well this winter.

No snow on the ground and the lakes aren't frozen over. My snow blower is ready to go, but I hope I won't need it for quite some time.

It's a balmy 40 degrees here in Michigan. It was 36 this morning at 4am and that's a good thing, because it was raining like the dickens. It could have been a foot of snow. So far, so good! :)

We're in the 20's right now. It's not too bad. We've been getting an inch or two each night for the past few nights. It seems like just when I get the driveway plowed, we get more snow. It's supposed to be around 7 degrees tonight, 19 degrees tomorrow, and 5 degrees Friday night. We're supposed to get snow almost every night next week. Time to throw another log on the fire.:)

2 days of low 30's and 1.5 ft of heavy wet slop. Already shoveling roofs and many communities without power. Heading for a stretch of single digits and -teens next week. Gonna be a white Christmas.
