What's for dinner?

I had a repeat breakfast dinner again Wednesday. She said she needed to cook up the stuff before she flies back in a couple days.

I complained not. Might get lucky and have it again today.

Tonight is slow cooker beef pot roast, not too much different looking from your pictures.

Can't beat an awesome home cooked meal!

Try Pepsi Pot Roast. It's delicious.
PEPSI POT ROAST

3-4 lb. pot roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
16 oz. bottle of Pepsi
Place meat in slow cooker. Top with mushroom soup and onion soup mix. Pour in Pepsi. Cover. Cook on High 6 hours.
4 lbs. of meat and put in 2 cans of soup and 2 envelopes of dry onion mix. This made more juice. Enjoy.

Tonight, I will be having something that has not been on the table in quite a long time.

There are a lot of ways to fix this little gem, with all the posibilities that one
can dream up, depending on the taste to be aquired.

Pass the ketchup, it is, Stuffed Bell Pepper time.

Stuffed peppers are ok, but I would rather have stuffed cabbage rolls.

not sure what the main course is yet... but sides & dessert are taken care of...

edit: leftover tortellini in red sauce... still delicious

Our supper club

We need to start a rotating supper club: once a month a member hosts dinner for the members that can get there.

We’ll call it the “Revolver Supper Club” (or the Revolving Supper Club) .

I think Rusty is the logical first host (sorry Rusty, someone has to go first!).

This was a meal from last week:

Pork tenderloin marinated for a full day in Siracha and honey, brazed in the Instant Pot (another kitchen gizmo - love it!); removed the meat and deglazed the pot with 1 cup of chicken broth; added extra honey, small red and gold potatoes, mushrooms and diced carrots; cooked on high pressure for 3 minutes with a 12 minute natural cool-down before opening; sliced and served with the broth it made in the pot.

Mildly hot and sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth tender! :D

Home made fried rice with fake crab meat and Vietnamese fish sauce. Gotta love the fish sauce. Lunch and dinner
