My favorite is What do I have here??Another all time favorite: How to prep / polish / clean / tumble / shine / hand polish brass cases.
What is this worth, or when was it made??

I'm guilty of asking when my gun was made back in April. It was my very first message here. I'm thinking I may have broken some unwritten rule about introducing oneself before asking a question. My intention was just get my question answered and never come back. Well that didn't turn out like I figured. I come here several times a day to see what's new (Probably too much but I'm retired and can do that kind of thing). I've made a couple of new friends, made a great trade, bought the 5th Ed. of the S&W Standard Catalogue and discovered LOTS of great information. I'm hooked and will keep coming back until I'm forever banned. My favorite is What do I have here??

My cardinal rule when posting anything on any internet site is: Don’t make any comment to someone online that you wouldn’t make to that individual live and in person.
What was " the day of the long knives"? "I gots to know"I wasn't here for "the day of the long knives" but I have had many tenured members tell me how Sheriff Silverback rode into town, cleared the streets, escorted folks to the city limits and cleaned up the town.
I am glad I took up residence here.
HOUSTON RICK and caje were present. They could best relate the skirmish through private messages as the gorilla frowns on us openly discussing it.What was " the day of the long knives"? "I gots to know"

OOO sounds serious!!! But would they discuss it in a PM? Sounds hazardous.HOUSTON RICK and caje were present. They could best relate the skirmish through private messages as the gorilla frowns on us openly discussing it.
It was serious, right up there with "The Great Picture Flush" on another gun forum when a software update didn't quite go as planned.OOO sounds serious!!! But would they discuss it in a PM? Sounds hazardous.

Yet, still not as popular as the Dino v. SyntheticAnother all time favorite: How to prep / polish / clean / tumble / shine / hand polish brass cases.
...or "why I still change my oil every 3000 miles like my dad did in the 60s."Yet, still not as popular as the Dino v. Synthetic![]()
What a fantastic attitude."IT IS WHAT IT IS' If you dislike it that much QUIT!!
Hate to tell you guys, but "the blue" forum isn't very well respected in the online community. I am a member of many gun forums and this one has a reputation. From the time I've spent here, its well earned.Al Hunt
So you think people who run the forum are purposely trying to ruin it? I don't think so. I totally agree with you about the thousands of hours members put into this forum as well as many others, but remember some has to set rules and identify topics etc. etc. Someone has to take charge and not everyone is going to agree. IMHO this is still one the best forums on firearms and general info with some great humor.
