    Jet Loaders

Additionally, the jet loaders are easier to shorten for quicker cartridge release. Just scribe a line around them and turn on the beltsander.

IDPA Holster Suggestions for Mod 19, 4"

I vote with cyberiad. Ready Tactical. If you order their speedloader holders, specify the "deep" model if you use Safariland Comp III or jetloaders. I use Ready Tactical with my M66, M625, and Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp, as well as with autos.

    45 Schofield Brass

Thanks to all who replied. I had read the post about the 45 CB brass, but thought it might be a bit extreme........ I have some Trail Boss, but havent used it yet. Seems like a good time to try.

    45 Schofield Brass

After many years without one, I recently acquired a 4" M25-5. I searched this forum and couldn't find an answer - so here is the question. Will Schofield brass work in the 25-5? My thought was that with the wimpy loads I will be using there would be less of an issue with powder position in...

    Price check on 3" 13-2

In the Atlanta area, 3" M13s (&3" 10s, 65s, less so 64s) are scarce and expensive. Glocks are plentiful. Somewhere in the 500 range wouldn't be unsual around here. I'd go for it in a second.

    Show those "PLUGS"

With apologies - I came in late on the thread and its related content. Is a forum member making the plugs for sale? Thanks, Howard

    Anyone own a 66-5?

It is difficult to be unhappy with a M66 of any length. I have both 3 & 4" versions, am now questing for a 2.5". Too bad they didn't make a 5". That would be the cat's meow.

    Reccomend a IWB holster for a 4506

The Milt Sparks VM2 is well worth waiting for. Ordering can be a bit challenging as they are only taking orders on the first work day of the month. I received one last week that I ordered in April. But it is lovely.

    Should S&W make 3913s again?

The thought of one just like the original 3913s(no rail or LS contour frame) but with a polymer frame that would accept the original magazines would seem to be the best of all. A bit lighter, cheaper for them to make, easier for the holster folks ..... what wouldn't be grand about that??????

Which caliber for IDPA, IPSC and CCW

9mm for carry and IDPA. Quality ammo w/proper placement=good results. For competition, cost savings of 9mm is significant when compared to the others. May not work for you, but works well for me.

    66-2 three inch question

It would be to me. Sadly, I paid a fair amount more than that three months ago for a 3" -3. As always, doesn't matter what I think, just how much you want it.....

Primers are back in central Pa

The only place that I have found with them in stock on the NE side of Atlanta has them for 45.00 a thousand. But, if that's all there is........

    Your First S&W

Mine was a NIB 4" Highway Patrolman. 1970. While it was a fine revolver, it was my first gun trade and likely the worst decision of many. Nothing wrong with the 28, it was a matter of what I gave up. The tale is too sad and too long to include. Youth is wasted on the young....

    What should i buy*** s&w 539 or 39-2

Absolutely buy the 539. At least buy it first. Comparatively speaking, very few were made so there will be more opportunity for a 39 later. And while only one opinion among many, I believe the steel frame is a bit more pleasant to shoot. After more consideration...... what the heck - buy both.
