    Mountain Guns

A man after my own heart. I'd like to find those, too. Someday.

    Mountain Guns

Nice pair! And you're right, the grips look great.

Does anyone here, have a Cat or Dog, that snores?

Our cat makes a wheezing sound when she sleeps, but never when awake. Guess that's the same as a snore.

    WooHoo Scored Today

Nice find. But I'm confused. What exactly this that 'spare cash' thing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Living in a different time ...

If I could choose another time to live in, out of the three you mentioned, I would choose the Colonial period. It would give me a chance to meet some of the founding fathers and see the country establish itself. Also, this was a time of great opportunity for many (but not all) people. It...

    Gun show report. Not good.

Went to the guns show in Little Rock today and had a great time. Most everyone was friendly and seemed to want to visit. Looked for some vintage grips for one of my revolvers. Visited with several vendors about S & Ws and everyone was eager to talk and offer opinions and advice, whether they...

What revolvers do you use as a CCW?

Blasphemous on this forum, but I usually carry my Ruger LCR in .357 with Hornady 125 gr XTPs.

    The 'unofficial' 58 Club

My newest..... Found it on GB and wanted to join the 'unofficial 58 club.' It has the smooth target trigger and is in pretty good condition. Has some wear around the muzzle and frame which looks like honest holster wear. Bore is very nice and seems to have been shot very little. Seems...

    Any breakfast cereal fans here?

I can't believe no one has said 'Lucky Charms" yet! They're magically delicious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Arlington in the snow

I was lucky enough to visit a few years ago and got to see the "behind the scenes" and talk to some of the soldiers. The preparation and training to perform their duty is grueling and thorough. True professionals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Taurus Brand Question: An Honest Question?

I have a Taurus Raging Bull in .41 mag. Haven't had any problems out of it. Enjoy shooting it a lot. That being said, the trigger is not as smooth as my model 57, or even my Redhawk. Fit and finish is not as good either. It did not cost all that much, especially compared to my Smiths...

    442/642 or Ruger LCR?

My normal CCW is the LCR in .357. I chose it over several others because it was the one I shot more accurately, consistently than other. Tried several at a local range that lets you 'rent' guns to shoot. I have big hands and it does tend to 'squirm' a little with heavier .357 defense loads...

    Good morning fellow citizens...

Glad you are one of 'us' now! You will probably come to appreciate our country more than most of us lucky enough to be born here.

    Ruger Redhawk 41 mag info?

I think the stainless ones are more common, but still pretty rare. I recently got a blued .41 redhawk w/7 1/2 barrel. No box, but sounds like the same type condition you describe. Paid $600, and think that was a pretty good deal. Red hawks in .41 mag are hard to come by. Ones on GB usually...

    The 'unofficial' 58 Club

Robbt- If the one on GB was the one with the finger groove Pachmeyers ikor is referring to, I may be the reason you can't find the ad. Didn't mean to snatch it from under you, but I wanted in the club too! When I get it, I'll try to post with some pictures.

    I feel so naughty

I have a Bersa ultra compact in .45. Picked it up used for very little $. It shoots suprisingly well, and is my alternate concealed carry. The finish on mine is terrible looking, a common fault as I understand. But since it stays covered most of the time, who cares.
