Barrel Profile They were produced concurrently.The 10-5 being the tapered barrel and the 10-6 was the heavy barrel.:)

hmmm.............. I have eleven various .38 Specials,both Colt and S&W. Choosing a favorite would be hard unless it was for a certain shooting or packing task at hand. After all,they are all special to me for on reason or another.;)
