Primers are getting harder to find

armthepopulace.com. WOW, they got some high priced ammo, but then again, with the shortage, if you want it--you gotta pay for it. I see Powder Valley is out or low on most primers and powder for handgun. That is a bad sign.

    SW1911 (108282) - Go for it?

I have that gun, got it NIB 11/03, It has the JRD prefix. For 9yrs it has been one of my range beaters with about 22,000 rounds through it. No issues, none. Still shoots better than I can hold, frame to slide is still tight as new. It has MIM parts, only the FPS needed replacing but never...

I bought a 67 about 1 1/2 yr ago it has the UNCLE MIKES, not not as nice as the new ones for sure. I noticed the picture of the 67 on the website shows the new grips but on the 360 it looks like it shows the UNCLE MIKES ? I bet it will be a while befor the S&W store shows them.

    Seater Die Problem

In the product manual, page 5, has the detailed instructions for RCBS dies. I don`t have a set of RCBS 38spl dies, mine are LEE 4die set, so different to set up. I do have a 40s&w RCBS die set, and the instructions were dead-on. Congrats on your new press, had my 2000 for 10yrs now, this month...

    1911 Problem

Plunger spring too loose?? no lecture from me:) Remove the main spring housing, with the hammer at full cock, move the safety up to half way and wiggle it out, it may be hard to do as he may have damaged your sear and it is binding the safety. If you are real lucky, and the safety and sear look...

    RCBS Pro 2000???

More than 130,000 rounds loaded and 9yrs of use, I am sure it is the easiest, most user-frendly progressive out there, having tryed the red and blue machines. I really didn`t like the primer tube thing. The PRO 2000 is really a great press and way under-rated.

Fiber optic front sight on a 67?

They are pinned, I measured the height at .250 (check I may be wrong) I have a new mod. 67 (what a great pistol) but my old eyes would like a better sight than the stock, so searching I found Brownells has the SDM but as was said in the past reply, the sight needs to be drilled to accept the...

4" Heavy Barrel Model 10-8 CCW Holster

you could look at the Safariland 568 (39.99) at the Cabelas site or the Fobus (25.99) at the Opticplanet site. I think both give options of strong side/cross draw/ or SOB. for not much money, and after you find which carry best suits that pistol, maybe later go higher dollar. I am looking at one...
