I use to shoot the Speer Gold Dot 125g. 38+p thru my 681 and now I'm issued Winchester Ranger 130g 38+p. Now if I wanted to go 357mag is there one anti-personal load that stands out head and shoulders over any other 357 load? The 38+p loads I mentioned are easy shooting in the 681 , is there a 357 load that is also as easy?

The Rem Golden Saber 125gr .357 and the Speer Short barrel 135gr .357 are two "easy shooting" loads that come to mind, that being a relative term. An L frame is more comfortable to shoot than a J frame. A .38 +P gives less recoil than a .357.

As for one distinctly superior "magic load", I don't think so. There are several excellent cartridges to choose from.
