6946 Fell into my lap

I have a good number of these for my 6906. I'm sure it won't mind sharing with it's new safe mate.

Still, that's a good price for these magazines.

Heads up! I was browsing ebay today.
There is one 69 series stainless mag for sale and 10 of the blued mags. All are S&W factory mags. $35 each
Hard to find mags.

Cool find at a nice deal. I find some of the deals at "said shop" very good while others high. I find that it seems certain shop owners sometimes price stuff according to what they like. What they like they typically have a better feel for what it can sell for. Stuff they don't like they offer lower money for and if they get it they put a mark up and just turn it not always beating us up. That's why Gary S. checking often pays off. I browse different shops for different stuff using my "what the owner likes" method. Lol.

You may be right about. I sometimes think that if it's something that they aren't familiar with, they put it out at a lower price, after giving a lower price on the trade in.

I bought a ANIB 457 back in March from the same shop. Late production, with what looks like a stainless steel trigger play spring. Still has plastic sights, but that's not a big deal for me.

You just have to be patient, I guess.

I got to the range today. As expected, the 6946 was flawless. Trigger is a bit stiff, but I think that's just because it's so "new." Also, the trigger pull is different than the first shot DA on the TDA 3rd Gens. I took a picture of the target, which I'll get up soon.

Once I got comfortable with the trigger pull, accuracy was very good. Overall I think I was more accurate with this than with my 3913s.

I may have to start carrying my 3953TSW more often!

I also took my 457 to the range. That was a pleasure to shoot. Boringly accurate, boringly reliable.

The 6946.
