Airzona noob checking in

Neighbor! I live near the main VA Hospital, and you likely know where that is. I am also on two -wheels, sometimes. However, your ride would leave mine in the dust in a split-second. That wheelgun will grow on you.

Welcome from sunny Florida. Neat safe. holy **** are those hayabusas fast. I was rolling along when one came up besides me and we both hit it and he left me like nothing and I wasn't on a slouch

Welcome to the forum. You can learn a lot here. I live in the Phoenix area also, and Nelson Ford is a good friend who has outstanding knowledge and ability in working on S&W revolvers and 1911 pistols. I never hesitate in recommending him to others. He's a fun guy to talk with and never lacks for a firm opinion on just about anything!

Dang it, the bug bit someone else, another new S&W collector in Arizona.

Just kidding, welcome to the the club and forum. There's a lot of us here in the desert and high country. Nice pics, we like pics.

Welcome from Oregon!
Knew a guy who had a Hyabusa. He was about 65, retired logger that walked with a cane. Went to Bonneville and ran 172 on a slightly soft surface day. Those baby's were made to fly. Small wonder the name translates as Falcon.

Welcome from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Head out to Virginia and I'll buy you a 7-up and we'll ride the Tail of the Dragon, or the Blue Ridge.

I think I'd rather do a bourbon tour, than ride The Dragon. I have seen so many car and motorcycle accidents on that road, due to idiots, it is not really something on my riding bucket list. But I hear Blue Ridge is a beautiful ride.

I've actually been planning to get out there, maybe this summer (COVD pending), to hit some distilleries, visit Nicky Hayden's memorial, and see a couple of friends on the way. I'll let you know if I make the trip.

Yeah, the Busa is pretty fast. I left a Dodge Hellcat in the dust a couple weeks ago.

Nelson is awesome. But I will shut him up and leave, so he can make some money. Every minute he spends BS'ing, is money lost. And while I love hanging out and chatting, I always feel guilty.

It's actually " Arizona " not airzona . Having been a resident off and on for 60 yrs . I rode and owned ONLY Harleys for 50 yrs . I've had flatheads , Knuckleheads , Panheads , Shovelheads , Evo's ( about 6 or so ) and a Twin Cam before quitting . I actually found New Mexico , " The Land of Enchantment " the most fun to tour and explore . When Roswell held the state HD Convention , I led the " Billy the Kid " tour . It was a great group of riders and we had a real good tour . I cowboyed in Arizona and New Mexico most of my life . Regards Paul

LOL I totally missed that until you pointed it out. I type faster than I think quite often.

I think I started falling out of love with Harleys when the TC came out. I rented a bagger back in 2005, then a Softail a year later, and just could not get used to that extra heat those things throw. And now they are even bigger.

My favorite bike I've owned is my 1980 FXWG. I spent ten good years with that bike, did a complete frame-up freshening on it back in 1992. Paint is done by me. Everything except the machining was actually done by me. :D
