Changed my mind and ended up with these three beauties. Went back and forth all last week as there was a used Python in great condition for $2000, but ended up making a deal for these at the same price.

A 586 no dash, 629-1 and a 19-4 with box. Bought them locally and have zero buyers remorse for not buying the Python. Thanks to a local seller in Michigan :)

That is the choice I would have made as well. If I didn't already have a Python my choice might have been different but my Python itch has been scratched and it did feel that good.

Three very nice looking guns. I think you made the right choice....congrats!

Whoa! what a nice trio...you scored dude! You did right by passing on the Python for those three beauties. Love the tiger striped grips on that model 19. Congrats:D

Three great models. You will never be sorry with those.

Pythons are nice, but their current value is somewhat overrated.

You made a good choice. Great versatility in those three, and you will not feel bad about actually shoot them.

Nice group.I would have done the same unless the Python was an ultimate stainless.

I'd have done the same thing. I've enjoyed shooting a Python, but only very carefully. I'd have no qualms about carrying and using any or all of those three. Very nice move!

I can't argue with getting three revolvers for the price of one. You did well. :)

Nice ! You made the right choice. I have a 6" Python that I bought used in the early 90's from a friend ($400.00)he used it to shoot silhouettes it has been tuned and a trigger job shoots like a dream but now I'm almost afraid to shoot it. It's nice to get out of the safe and look at . I would much rather have the three Smiths that you picked up ,shoot them and enjoy!

Only reason I'd buy a Python is to flip it for a profit and 2 grand is high enough that I might not make one. Three revolvers for one is the smart move.

I love Colts and Smiths
With that inmind why pay the long dollar for one when you appreciate both
They are all nice but the 586 is the king to me
Smart move

I have a Python. Big, fat, hairy deal. I just don't get it. It's tacky, and my Model 13 or 28 will shoot circles around it. You did good.

Looked at this one for 1200.00 didn't seem right didn't like the grips or the nickel cylinder. I passed and got a model 25 Classic instead

You scored a hat trick! You could sell any one of those and be money ahead, and you would still have two more revolvers to enjoy! You couldn't do that with a Python. I think Python prices are at the top of the bubble. Be patient. One will turn up in a year or two when someone who was holding on to it waiting for the prices to peak suddenly needs to sell it for some quick cash.
