Well peoples, we use a Discover Card for as many purchases as we can. They give us a cash back bonus and with that we buy meat.
We can use $20 of our bonus and get a $30 certificate to Omaha Steaks. Right now we have 2 $30 certificates.
Anyway I was wandering around the Omaha Steaks webpage and found some ground bison burgers on sale. I can get eight 5.3 ounce burgers and it'll cost me only about $8.
Bison's a source of lean protein and is definitely on my diet. It's kinda tricky to cook just right. I've got a cast iron pan that's up to the task.
I figure with my Birthday coming up in November, this can be an early Birthday present for a gimpy old Injun.
