This was at the Paw Paw Memorial Day car show.

I'm intending to start a thread on both the car show and parade but it's taking a long time to upload the parade video.

Another cool show this year I'd say!

The '54 Mercury truck caught me off guard, The grill is from a '54 for sure.

I guess we didn't send the Canadians the new Y-block. I'm sure the last flatheads in the US were put in the '53 F-100.

Thanks for sharing another groovy video.

Monday morning I'll have an arteriogram to try to determine why I have only 45% circulation (and a lot of pain) in my right leg and some circulatory problems elsewhere.

The best outcome would be for my vascular surgeon to read the scan and determine that stents will alleviate the right leg problem. If that's the case he'll go ahead and insert them then and there.

If stents won't do the job it would require more extensive surgery. I really don't see how I could agree to that. I have no one to help me and care for my little dog.

Anyway, I'm trying to stay in today, but I would appreciate it if those of you who are so inclined could say a prayer or two for me. You were wonderful about that when my brother died, almost two years ago.

Thanks in advance.
Hoping for the best for ya.

Bend over here it comes again.

After a year with a sorta-smart phone I compared it to my old flip you phone. I found the flip you phone was not going to be supported much longer. I ordered a newer 4G Android 5 something to replace my 3G Android 4 something. It's like a faster better sorta-smart phone. I'll have it Tuesday? All I really wanted was a better camera, but for $100 I do not think that will happen.

I think it funny that some people take pride in claiming flip you phones as a sign of superiority, because they never learned how to do anything with the new gizmos.

The old phones in my stable.

Prayers sent.

I worry about my two dogs and had a talk with my vet Friday. Being alone u never know, things happen.

She says she'll take them until such time my sister can get them.

I'd hate to see my little girl [9 year] go through another loss.

I'm all she has known since my wife passed and she's a very sensitive dog. My boy is like velcro [2 .5] and needs constant attention and exercise.

Let's really go back in time and fire up one of these old bag phones!;)
Remember these? :D

Paw Paw recently got a nearby cell tower.
We had our old flip phone reactivated.
It's really all we need.

Check to see if it is 2-G or 3-G. The second generation of digital phones are being phased out. I'm on Tracfone which is the same company as Net 10 (American Movil sp?). I did not have to do the phone upgrade, but it was so cheap it was a, Why not?... moment.

Funny story about these old WWII field telephones I acquired several sets of these from our old local Civil Defense back in the mid 90's. I got these to be used for our very young at the time Hazardous Materials Team. Got several spools of wire for them and rigged them up, after all those years they worked like a charm and they were crystal clear! Used them one time at an all night incident once and they did the job!
Of course they would because they were made by Western Electric! ;)
