Has anyone watched the new show "Fat Men in the Woods"?
It's another survive in the woods show but actually pretty good. Not crazy with MacGyverisms but usually one or two good tips on shelters, fire, food or water.
3 usually overweight, out of shape guys set up a minimalist camp with the guide for a week then spend the last night solo using what they've learned. They spend the week with 2 maybe 3 items he gives them and the clothes they wore in, that's it.
No food or water, they have to aquire it all. They ended up sucking the brains and eyeballs out out a cooked rabbit on one show, they were so hungry after 3 days.

So far its been entertaining and not the usual BS.

Now that was a great show...so ya gotta ask yourself...

Nasty weather here,cold and rainy. The older I get the more I hate the cold. My shop has been in the high thirties low forties and that sucks.

Speaking of hop toadies...

My pet toad Hoppy died when I was knee high to a grasshopper, so I put it in a little plastic box with a copper penny and a note...buried him in Gramma's flower bed.
Fast forward about 30 years (before the millennium turned) and I got a padded envelope in the mail.
There was a little, dirty, plastic box in there with a penny, some dust and a note that said: MY FOG HOPPY

Grandpa used to tease me endlessly about my fog (he pronounced it *fouge*) HAHA!
