Anybody hungry? Well I guess my ape divergence won't be lasting; turns out for some reason, nearly every ape picture I have involves...uh..."companionship" with other apes. This is either a comment on apes, or on me, maybe both. I do have one wonderful picture of a silver back saluting with one raised finger, but I'm pretty sure I would be gulaged for posting it for a long time, if not forever. Oh well...
Just finished watching Nobody's Fool again starring Paul Newman, Jessica Tandy, and Bruce Willis. Good flick. Jessica Tandy's last movie before she died.

An' I'm still up. ?! Looooong day. Work party at the club.
Got some fresh firewood. (Oak and maple. A bit of black birch.
Which smelled like rootbeer.)
By fresh, I mean I watched the guy with the chainsaw cut the stuff down. Then I threw a bunch in the back of my pickup.
God this guy was poetry in motion with his 18" bar Husqvarna.
He knew exactly where to cut so the tree or bit of tree would fall precisely where he wanted it to.
It was impressive and a joy to witness.
Did some (neverending) yard work too.
Now it is time for sleepy-night-night.

I had a hiatus once but had to put it up for adoption. Ever looked at the cost of Purina Hiatus Chow?
Neutering it cost nine thousand dollars.
I wonder if perhaps I should think about calling it a night?
