Annoyed at thread drift

Sadly I missed most of these old programs, not because I'm not old but because didn't have a TV. Never saw Elvis or the Beatles on TV. Saw a few programs at friends houses but don't really remember what.
Still don't watch much.

You did not miss much,we didn't always have TV when I was a kid and when we did we only got one channel . Most of
my memories are from reruns. Most of us probably watch to much nowadays .

In Englang, in the 50's, the only channel was BBC. It aired for 4 hours a day. The only kids' show was "Bill & Ben the Flower Pot Men."
And you wonder why I am the way I am now.

These were local shows: Skipper Ryle, Uncle Al & Capt. Windy, The Larry Smith Puppets and the Cool Ghoul.
They were so creepy that mom made me watch them as punishment. I hold them responsible for all the wingless flies I created.
