WELCOME BACK!!!:D

Where ya been, what adventures did you have??

watch out drifters, fiery red-head pawngal is back and I hope you're not on her "B" SLAP list:eek::eek:

Nothing exciting, 5 days helping out at daughter's house. She had surgery Wed., spiral fracture in her hand, 2 pins in it & in a cast. They are moving in May so I packed up all of her good china, crystal, and breakable collectibles. And just general extra pair of hands. Good part was quality time with granddaughters.

Has somebody been naughty and need to be "B" slapped?

So what is your super power?

Just pretend this is witty.

Drifting at high speed and high altitude.

Well, it's been quite a day. I woke up and immediately forgot to do something on my way to run an errand while commuting to work but got sidetracked when I did something stupid so I just went to work where I was distracted by a task in the middle of another chore while performing a different work assignment that was interrupted by a phone call from someone reminding me what I had forgotten to do earlier in the day but misplaced the message in the men's room when the sink shot water all over my khakis leaving an embarassing water mark on the front of my pants right before I had to leave for a lunch appointment that I had to cancel because the only reason we were meeting was to discuss what I forgot to do that morning so I ate lunch at my desk and spilled diet mountain dew so I had to clean that up between phone calls and afterwards starting working on my original project that I forgot to do earlier when I realized that I had a 3 o'clock appt. with the doctor but his office called after I clocked out to cancel the appointment so I headed to the post office through horrible traffic to drop off some mail that when I pulled up to the box I realized was still on my desk at the office so I grabbed some dinner and headed home after a very busy day. Now if I could only remember what it is that I have to get done first thing in the morning.

Vincent VanGogh's "Night Cafe" has always been my favorite painting.
When I was a small child, my mother gave me a framed print. It hung
on my wall "forever." In fact, it's still hanging in my home.
I posted this painting previously...same cafe...different artist, Paul Gauguin. Some people believe that Van Gogh did not cut off his own ear, but Gauguin did it. These artists can be a volatile bunch.

Keeping the cafe theme, here's another Van Gogh...Cafe Terrace at Night.

I need help dating a revolver. Anyone free next Saturday night. Maybe we could double. She has a sister, she's a real PISTOL!

I don't want to date somebody's sister, does she have a brother?
Or am I the sister? Am I my brother's sister?
Wait a minute, I don't have a brother.
Color me confused :confused::confused:

boatme, I'm afraid too but I gotta ask, Who is cabbagehead?

Any relation?

cabbage-head.jpg

A character from the old 90s television show "Kids In The Hall".
He's a misogynistic jerk who'll do anything to get close to a woman.
Tag lines are:
"It's because I have cabbage for a head, Isn't it?"
"Hey, I'm the King of the mercy ****!"
Among others.

He's eventually shot in the head by a former date, and while on his deathbed, sees God, who has a cabbagehead!

He miraculously survives, gets religion, and trys to organize wet tee shirt baptisms.

When I was a kid, I used to call the painting, "The Pool Hall."
Some poor pool hall with only one table.
I wonder if they charged by the hour,
or by the number of people playing.
In reality, it's a Snooker table.

It's my understanding that Vincent sent his ear to a woman friend. If Paul had cut it off, do you think Vinny would have mailed it to his sweetie?
