And today, I'm gonna gets me a hotdog! Or two.
Wiff home-made-ed 'kraut. Shoulda been Culinarians Day when it was hotdog day. Or do Culinarians bother wiff hotdogs?

Been awake since 4 am,going to make for a long day. Used to sleep so hard a bomb couldn't wake me,now days a flea crawling on the old dog and I am up and no going back to sleep. News is saying a theater shooting in Louisiana last night details to follow. Where are all the crazies coming from?

You know, as adamant as the French are about keeping American influence from seeping into their culture...what with it being Hot Dog Day, I've got to wonder if they are aware of Sonic marketing the Croissant Dog. If they are I'll bet that it has caused some "sacre bleu'ing" (spelling?) over there!:D:D:D:D

***An Update on my little Ranger***

It turns out the damage done to the AC wasn't nearly as bad as first thought, so I am back on the road...WITH cold air! A big thank you to all of you that wished me good luck on the truck!

The Spy Who Brewed Beer

A friend passed away last week. I've known him for about ten years. He was one of our Spinning instructors at my gym that I go to about every day. He was 83 and still leading classes up to this past May. He became somewhat of a "star" for being the nation's oldest Spinning instructor.

And now we begin to learn about his "other" life. He was born in Holland and married a French Moroccan and then became a French citizen. His "day" job (that we all knew about) was being a master brewer for Heineken beer in 17 different countries. But what we didn't know is that all the while he was working for the French government collecting information, yes spying! Regardless he was an interesting, good man and he will be missed.

We've had our grandson and granddaughter for a month. Poor Mimi is about wiped out...they leave tomorrow and we'll miss them. Sorta.
