Got home late last night from the hunting lease and just getting caught up. 10 pages of drift has probably caused permanent damage but on top of what has already been done no one will be any the wiser. Saw a lot of bucks but no shooters, next trip will be the last probably so I will definitely harvest one for the freezer. Now I have to catch up on unfinished chores. Drift on!

Good morning everyone, hoping everybody is well and having a great day! I'm really enjoying this weather and it can stay this way the rest of the winter! Sooner or later we're going to pay!

I really like Placido, too.

I've always greatly preferred Placido Domingo, among the top tenors of Pavarotti's generation. Magnificent voice, one of the best since Bjoerling in my opinion, and the man could seriously act while making great music.

I think he's only conducting these days, and doing it very well from what little I've heard of his work.

I think his voice is warmer and 'prettier'. He's also a good actor as seen in the movies that he's made. I makes sense that his voice was warmer, because he's been singing baritone roles instead of tenor.

Do you know why they are called 'Odd Fellows'?

When we were young teenagers, our church was in a red light district and across the street was the 'Odd Fellows' hall. You can imagine the time we had with this. Later I found that the reason they are 'odd' is because they are devoted to service and charity, which people consider strange, it's just not normal to be so unselfish. Their ladies auxiliary are called the 'Rebekahs'. I got to know some of them and they are some dedicated people.
