Annoyed at thread drift

Good morning all. It's an oppressive 80 degrees and 87% relative humidity here in Houston. For you tomato gardeners, tomato blooms will not set with nighttime conditions this hot. I always said that in Houston the tomatoes set on your plants on Memorial Day were probably all the fruit you would get for the spring season. By the 4th of July the heat will start killing the plants anyway. Chances of rain here today are 50% per NWS or 70% per TV weather personalities. I believe the National Weather Service then the guys that are paid to get you to watch. One forecast or the other, it looks like there will be a lot of rough weather in a large part of the country over the next 48 hours or so. I'll get a an hour and a half of walking before it starts raining here, I'm sure. Be safe, and each of you have a great day!

Good morning drifters.
Hardly keeping up with the drift, let alone the rest of the forum.
Need to get my priorities straightened.
Summer time is in full swing down here although we are enjoying a bit of dry air wrapping around a little system trying to form out the Bahamas way. May develop and drift a bit so that folks near Charleston may find their Memorial Day a bit wet.

Almost forgot.
RUUUSSSTTYYYYYY.... can you come out and play?

Good morning all! Well we have made it to Thursday again. Been busy the last few days and have to get used to the heat of summer kicking in. The flood killed my old shop refrigerator and a buddy gave me a big new one so I will find out this morning how many water bottles it will hold. Drift on!

Good evening drifters, it's 71 degrees in the desert tonight. The high was mid 90's with a good breeze no humidity to speak of in the desert.

I think I will learn to speak lizard so I can ask them about the emu hordes that may be sneaking through the desert. We don't have possums or groundhogs out here so I'll just have to talk to what ever I can.

"Adopt, Adapt & Improve." Motto of the Round Table...Per Monty, anyways!

Good morning everyone,,, another great day in the making! Nice and sunny and its warming up! :D
Trying to get my refrigerator in the Motorhome to keep working. Keeps tripping the GFI breaker in the garage so that will be the first thing I change!
Getting the thing ready for the campground and I am not going take there if the refrigerator isn't going to run! ;)

raljr1,,,So we do 4 day holiday weekends at my place, so this is Friday!
_______________

Gee, I thought everyday was Friday?....:)

Good morning drifters. It's 71 degrees in the desert this morning on the way to 87 according to the weatherman/woman/person. This is below normal for this time of year but I'm not complaining it feels good. By the end of next week it will be where it should be back in the triple digits up to 104 by next weekend. Ahhhh.....summertime is upon us.

You retired guys....geez

Robert, I have both 36's and 37's and they are great handguns! ;) I think I paid about $400. for my nickel 36 but that was several years ago, so one in good shape today for $500. not bad. How new is it and is it rated for Plus P ammunition?
I use a 36 Snubby for CCW and my first one was a 3" 37 which I still have.
If you like it go for it! ;)

Perhaps we are going about this Emu eradication thing the
wrong way.
I wonder if we could train them to attack Illegals smuggling
drugs?
The guy in Jurassic World trained Dinosaurs to hunt
so why can't we train an Emu?

Roadtrash and Kwelske.....See if ya'll can get a few of them
Emu roped and put up in a corral.
I'll start checking the Yellow Pages for an Emu whisperer.

Thunder Boomers rolling thru here today.
Probably from the same system that kept pawngal
up last night. Nothing severe is forecast (that's good).
Got the yard mowed just in the nick of time.
Now i can relax this weekend.
Hope you all have a nice Memorial Day weekend with
your loved ones and be safe if you are traveling.
