Annoyed at thread drift

Evening drifters . It's been a crazy couple of days at work, followed by the misses and I trying to finish up the garden and flower beds. Needless to say, come this time of night, we are both whooped!
Tomorrow looks to be just as chaotic with one of my techs. scheduled to be off for the long weekend. Oh well, I'll just go with the flow. I'm out for the night but not before I give a salute to my favorite breed of dog!

The use of the term "Hi-Point" in this case is an oxymoron.

I always thought about this Co. like that as well.
But i wouldn't mind having one of these just to play
around with.:D:D Little folding 9mm

Yeah, i know it look like one of them evil insult weapons...
:eek::eek:

This was on another thread today.
Could be a fun little truck gun.
Runs on Glock magazines from what
i understand. I'll be on the lookout
for one, but only at the stores. I guess
they are being sold online for crazy
mark-ups. If you can find one in a big
box retailer they run from 410-460.00
Not bad !!

Just talked to one of my hunting buddy's and it is apparent our deer lease is now home to a large group of hogs. We have never had a hog problem and if we don't do some serious hog control they will put a hurt on our deer hunting this fall. I am thinking I may have to set up one of my semi auto rifles with a red dot to obtain as many hits as possible when they come into the area I am baiting for them. I have gotten 3 at once with a bolt gun with a scope but the more the better for this type of pest control. I would like to use my M1A if I can find a mount for the sight but I may have to use the iron sights. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be but I can still hit hog size targets and a 308 in the center of mass should do it. If I get any to eat all the better.

My wife got some new boots. Not sure if she's gonna wear them for tomorrows hike or just wear them around the house for a while first.
We're planning a long hike in the mountains tomorrow. Supposed to be in the mid 80's. Might rain but so what? A little water never hurt.
Honestly though, I've been caught in a thunder storm while hiking in the mountains before. I thought it was awesome.

Last time I took a brand-new pair of boots on a long hike, I regretted it. Feet looked like bubble-wrap.
