Watched the ESPN program on OJ Simpson. Pretty interesting, but what's the big interest in him again? He is up for parole next year.
First the program on the trial and now this!

I haven't the slightest interest in watching the mini-series.

My native state. But I've lived most of my life in Kentucky, which is even more gun-friendly.

After lunch I went to Academy and bought a pair of Wrangler Rugged Wear jeans, a pair of Levi's cargo shorts, and a Carhartt pocket t-shirt. I was sure of the sizes and did not try anything on. When I got home I pulled the stickers and tags off of them. Threw them in the washer and set the machine for a small load. When I tossed the jeans in the dryer I heard something bang hard on the dryer drum. I thought how could a coin have been in those jeans? What I found was a pumice stone. I put a penny next to it in the picture for a size reference. Proof positive those jeans were stonewashed. Strange, very strange.

Been watching super-regional games in the run-up to the college baseball world series. Seeing a lot of kids with the potential to make the majors, including some brilliant young pitchers.

What I'm really waiting for is the Little League World Series, my favorite sporting event of the year. I'm sure some of the little guys have dreams of playing in the bigs, but they're playing now for the love of the game, and learning sportsmanship.

Me too !!! Did you just see the end of the UCSB and Louisville
game?

Been ten years now but....
i can't watch the Little League WS anymore after the fiasco
with the team from NY (i believe) won it all using a player
from the Dominican Republic that was too old.
This cheated a local team from representing the US in the
Championship.
Winning isn't Everything !!

Saint Arnold (the Patron Saint of Brewers) Brewing spring seasonal Bock. This is probably the last I'll see of it until next spring. I like it!

It looks like Staniel has a nice old comfy used chair to use
as a scratching post and place of rest.
The pup looks content to be on Emu guard duty.
Gotta love our furry friends.

That's the way it usually works out for me as well.
Wife is always looking for a reason to buy a pair of
shoes or flip flops.
But she puts up with me and my "habit" of buying
S&W/Colts, so i guess i'll keep her.
It's all Good.

Nothing new happening here? Took the Corvette out for a little run earlier and stopped at a local Lions Club sponsored car show! Did see some interesting sights, there were about a dozen Hearses there in a group along with a group of guys with their custom vans from the 60's and 70's ! What a blast from the past on those vans !
No storms brewing here, clear weather but a bit breezy, there was a lot of debris on the road while I was out driving?
Just got finished watching the movie 13 Hours, The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
It is a worthwhile picture to see, I can't comment to much on this or I'll be getting dinged! If you get a chance watch it. Another reason why we should be washing our hands of some of these dirtbags, that is after we level some serious ground!
Time to go see what the Mrs. would like to do about dinner?

Thanks for the thought. Hiding () in the room last couple hours, got a nice shade of med. rare earlier so found an excuse to get out of the sun. Race on for background, fell asleep with 17 to go, too many cautions, no idea of the outcome.

2 lb. Porterhouse with a dust of salt and pepper, 2 ears of corn and garlicked up baguette destined for the grill soon. Bottles of Bud Select (my light beer) on ice for man does not do fire without the barley pop.
