My wife's Toshiba laptop just upgraded itself from Windows 8 to Windows 10!
Oh whatever shall we do?
How will we ever be able to deal with it working pretty much the same?
Now both my wife's Toshiba and my Samsung have Windows 10.

Hopefully with my wife's computer training and my genius level IQ, we'll be able to muddle through...

Applies to the TV news shows and news specials, especially 'breaking' news reports!
Their version of what they want you to see and hear, to match their version of the world!
Never let facts get in the way!
Best way to lie, always have some truth in the story, but what you leave out, in most cases provides the twist for their agenda!

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is off to a Happy Wednesday!
Looks like we had some rain here overnight, knocked the temps and the humidity down! ;)
Have had my coffee for the morning and have treated the pool. A very nice morning! :D
The deck project is moving along nicely, looking real good and now the wife has peace! ;)
Need to get out and get the wife a birthday present and some cards, her birthday is Monday! and I don't have a clue what to get her?
I know maybe,,, an LCP and a license application!,,,Nottttt, she'd have a fit but at least it would push the issue! ;)

Well time to move along,,,see what for trouble I can get into today! :D
Drift on and most importantly be safe! ;)

Great day today at Brookville lake.
Between the three of us we caught 20 Walleye (14 keeper size),
a dozen channel cats, 10 white bass, 1 crappie, 2 big bluegill,
and one carp of about ten pounds.
Fish fry this weekend. Tomorrow i go to the store for some cajun
seasoning. Just my opinion but i'll take fresh Walleye filets over
about anything. We slowly drifted and trolled using only the trolling
motor using small spinner heads tipped with night crawlers.
Had to keep the bait right on the bottom and wait for the tap, tap,
then pause for a second and set the hook.
Gorgeous day to be alive and on the water with friends.
Northerly wind (no humidity) and temps in upper 70's.

We kept an eye for any Emu submarine attacks but all
was calm on the lake today. I am preparing depth charges
for just such an attack next time.

Tired but going Kayaking tomorrow so off to bed with this
old geezer.

Great tunes today folks, Zeppelin, Creedence, Doors, BOC, and all
the great songs with cowbell. You all Rock !!!

Back in the days of starting high school, we lived in Mass. With a large pond, to me a small lake across the road! Dad and I built a boat out of a couple of sheets of plywood, sort of a square all around barge with a little upturn at the bottom of one end. Painted it very, and installed a set of oars. In the spring eels migrated into the lake. I hate eels, especially catching one when fishing for something else. Slimy, squirmy, just yucky!
So we made some depth charges. You could still buy pure sodium then! Take a mayonaise jar, put a chunk of sodium in it. Take a nail and punch a hole in the lid, and put a sugar cube over the hole, using the bent in tail from the nail hole to hold the sugar cube.
Screw the lid on, and when you got to the baited spot, you put the jar in the water. Depending upon how much weight you put in the jar, you could control the depth so what before the sugar cube melted, and water met the sodium! Pretty good bang, looked like a small depth charge exploding! Got quite a few eels that way! Also convinced a 'rich' kid who liked to zoom by us real close in his daddy's speed boat that maybe he should play at the other end of the pond, while we 'fished' our end in our slow row boat.
My sister had another method when he annoyed her one day, circling and zooming close by. She threw an oar like a javelin through his boat windshield!
Even I knew not to push her to far! Years later a while at Winthrop, (bigwheelzip knows where this is) a local boy got convinced she was not to be trifled with, while out on a lake!
Back to your regularly scheduled normalcy or not! 😝

Suggestion for the birthday gift?
Let her pick the stain color, and whatever method she wants to use to apply the stain! 😘

Good Mid Morning!

Not supposed to be as hot today? Also a little less humid?

It doesn't matter, I can't do nothing about the weather. I just roll with the flow. Bad weather just slows me down, it don't stop me from doing anything I need too.

So, I hope everyone has a GREAT Wendsday! Be Safe, Be Smart. And watch your back!

Had a real gully washer last evening and none of the downspouts were flowing.Rented a 30' ladder and spent most of today cleaning out the gutters and when it cools off a bit I'll climb back up on top and trim the branches back.My back will be hell tomorrow, but I get to keep my man card one more day! Now if those were Canadian Geese, we have hoards of them around here. Not real popular when they poop on the docks.

Their popularity increases in the fall as they are dispensed with a 10 or 12 ga.

I love your sister. :D Definitely my kind of gal!

One of her sons lives on the remains of the family ( her husbands side) of the family farm outside Greenville. He manages a local restaurant. His ex manages another restaurant somewhere around there also.
Since they split up, and kids are involved, my sister goes back 5 to 6 times a year to help 'moderate' issues. The ex was making noises about 'her' share of the farm. My sister had a discussion with her, and for some reason that idea of hers is now null and void? 😙
I could have told her that when my sister sets her mind to something, it is much easier to agree and thank your lucky stars!!! 😏
