Reconnaissance revealed 5' 10" pile of Echo Mike Uniform scat, imagine if they flew and dropped a message from on high.!!! My trusty 617 will be no match for these birds. With next resupply include 105mm recoilless rifle.

Fix'n to crash. I hope to get some sleep? But it's only 1:15 am? Early for me.

Our son is here hanging out with grandson and their streaming Small Tire No Prep drag racing from YouTube through our ChromeCast on the living room TV. They know NOT to crank it up to LOUD, they sure don't want to wake Wifey the she devil, up at this time of the morning. There would be HELL to pay.

I got a few things done today. Me and grandson finally went and got haircuts today. I Usally get mine cut every 3 weeks, but it had been 6 weeks! I was starting to look like a Wooly Mammoth. And felt like a Sloth. And now I feel 5 pounds lighter. And even more Handsome! LOL Now I feel a little less Sloth-ish!

It's late, And I'm tired.

So PLEASE stay Safe, especially if your playing with fireworks.

But PLEASE do celebrate our Freedom this Weekend. Because we don't have much Freedom Left, and we need celebrate it any chance we get.

Good morning all. It's about time for me to head out on my never ending quest for physical fitness and scouting mission for hordes of any kind. The weather has not changed and it is hot at 4:55. Am going to have a beer this afternoon with a young lady. I'm not sure if she is young enough to be my daughter or granddaughter? I just want company for a beer at the brewpub, this should be interesting. Time for me to head out into the darkness. Each of you have a great day!
 
This Is CRAZY!

Good Morning!

I finally got to sleep at about 2:30 ish am this morning. And I'm up all ready? This is NUTZ!

Well I hope everyone here is already headed to Nashville for the GIANT 4th of July Fireworks and Concerts tomorrow starting at noon. With the GIANT fireworks display going off at 9:30p.m.!

You can be one of select few! Just you and around 250,000 other people, that is predicted to be here?

They're saying, our fireworks show and concert will be number 1 in the nation this year? Costing Nashville hundreds of thousands of dollars. We're not stingy! Just ask our female democratic mayor! Like she says, it's just money! They can print more!

There is NO way I'd get near the crowds and commotion! The drunks, the pick pockets, the horrible parking, the ladies of the evening! And that's just at the Bar down the street from us, watching it on TV! I really can't imagine the real crowd downtown?

But when you get to Nashville, just PM me. And I'll give you some tips on what to do and see! First thing is STAY AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN!!! just come to our house and watch in the comfort of AC on our 52 inch TV. But it's B.Y.O.B.! Bring your on brisket! I don't indulge in brisket any more! But ill furnish snacks!

So get packing! And I'll See You Here!
 
Good morning drift! Got to get myself going this morning but I sure don't want to start sweating this early. Going over to my shop and work on my old truck A/C for awhile until it gets too hot. Going to mount the scope on my new rifle as well I hope,might try to shoot it if I get a chance. Drift on!
 
The morning is coming late for the weekend revelers here on my island fortress.
They crossed the moat by the thousands yesterday and they're in their tents like Santa Ana's army at San Jacinto. It must've been the margaritas and rum drinks at the local cantinas....
No doubt they'll mount their golf carts and hi lift pickups when the heat drives them out of the canvas.
I made a run to the local grocery store at 6:30 and didn't have to wait in line, (just pay the marked up resort prices for fresh fruit and veggies.) That will all change in an hour.

Good morning fellow drifters, hope everything is good in your neck of the woods!
Looking like a great day here! ;) Hopefully the rain they are calling for tomorrow won't materialize!;)
Coffee is good this morning since we now have use of the deck again. Soon will be headed out for a family reunion picnic.
So for now be safe and drift on! :D
 
Ol' Tex is a man after my own heart, knows how to dress for company!
Getting caught in the drift (are new posts considered the top or the bottom?) amongst other chores this AM, missed some music but life goes on.
Low to mid 90's all week, enough rain around so the humidity never burns off, supposed to really heat up for the next few days... perfect Snubby weather.
Had to spend part of two evenings mowing the yard. Friday was black to the west but since everything had been moving from the south I started work. Naturally the storm moved overhead and flushed it's load on me for the next hour and a half.

I'll find a thing or two to keep me busy until the Yuenglings get cold and fulfill Mrs. N's request for my specialty grilled chicken breasts.
Simple stuff at my favorite place in the world.

Yup, that's the way I like it.
We're supposed to start heating up here in the next few days.
