Any idea when the new 632 2 1/8" (#178046) will show up?

I am interested in the new-for-2010 Model 632 in .327 Fed Magnum, the 2 and 1/8" barreled one on a Centennial frame, SKU of 178046. A search of this forum turned up no threads on it, and my internet searches turned up none in stock anywhere.

Anyone have any idea when these will start showing up, or have they already?

I'm thinking that when stoked with .32 H&R Mag or even .32 S&W Long loads, this could make a good carry gun for my very recoil-sensitive wife. Her 640-3 with various standard pressure .38 loads has too much recoil.

632

I handled one in Charlotte and spoke to the rep. I will also get one. He said ship early June. It was a sweet revolver. It would be a small very powerful and 100% reliable carry package

I am looking for it as well. I handled both of the blued and stainless model, the power port does not sit well with me. Hopefully the Centennial version does not have the power port or the IL hole in it.

Nope, the 632 Pro has no lock or port. Just great sights and six potent rounds

I need two things, my department to approve the .327 Federal for carry (right now we can't carry any caliber smaller than .355) and S&W to introduce a M&P/Airweight/Airlite version of the 632 Pro and I will be first in line to purchase one to replace my 37-2 as my on-duty BUG.

I am sure the 632 Pro is a fantastic revolver, but I carry my BUG in an ankle holster and thanks to an old knee injury I cannot carry anything on my ankle heavier than about 17 ounces. The 632 Pro is just too heavy or I'd just go with it.

I figure if S&W can offer a M&P340 they can offer a M&P 332 if the sales numbers of the .327 Federal guns look good. Lets hope so anyway.

I know this is old, but I've been waiting for this model for a long time too. Called S&W again this morning, finally got through after 10 minutes. For what it's worth, he said they should be out this month...don't tell me, show me.

Thanks for the update.

I've had money down on one since April of last year and was wondering if they were ever going to show up......

Yeah, that and the 3" 63 from last year - but the .22 made it here before Thanksgiving. That 632 should be a hit.
