I really like S&W guns and have some made in Mass and Houlton, Maine. I am on a made in USA kick for a few years now. I would own S&W Knives and Collectables, but all I see is China.

What S&W Knives and Collectables are NOT made in China? I am game for getting some.:) I have nothing made in China that I respect or care to give to my grandkids.

smith knives are all made in china smith just lets taylor knives market them. if you want a good knife google bark river knives

I have collected many S&W knives and all are USA made, bujt as stated they are know made elsewhere and the lack of quality is not good.

Is there any store that specializes in older, S&W made knives and belt buckles?

older S&W knives

Hi Falguy, or other S&W knife colectors. I'm putting up for sale my colection of older, "Sportmans" type S&W knifes. About 25 knifes total, all new, never used.

9 knives and 11 knives are in great wooden desplay cases. Maybe a salesman's case??? looks great. Give me a few days to get some photos posted. many dupes of the ones everyone wants.

Whenever I stop at pawn shops looking at guns, I also check out their knife section. I've turned up a few older US made knives that way. Flea markets and yard sales are also good places to look.

Hi Branned2010,

Did you check out my collection of 1970s USA, S&W knives for sale on this forum?? These knives would make a great collection for the grandkids.

I would get a brass plate made "From Grand dad to-------" What would that look like in 20 or 40 years........

In 2004 I bought a Bark River Classic Hunter from AG Russel. It looks a lot like the Randal #1. I have not used it because I thought that it looked too good to use.

My favorite carry knives are made by Spyderco and Gerber.

Well I kind of agree with ya, but I do have a Norinco SKS that was converted to use AK mags and it runs like a you know what. Only thing I have Chinese that I like

I bought a Kershaw Knockout 1870 with Swedish stainless steel and a sub-frame lock. Check it out on YouTube. I always buy USA if possible. I don't trust China for anything my wife and I eat or my dog eats OR anything important like a knife.

This was made in USA in the 1980's and still NIB
