BALLISTI-CAST bought and owns the rights to the H&G mold cutting CHERRY DESIGNS. They make "IRON" MOLDS.

Ballisti-Cast was sold last year and the new owners are building casting machines,

THEY'VE EVEN IMPROVED THEM WITH THE HELP OF CUSTOMERS SUGGESTIONS.

They are making Sizers, hand held molds, machine molds for the Ballisti-Cast machines and even will make you a mold for your

Magma Engineering "MASTER CASTER" MACHINE.

Mike Sand and company have even lowered the price on 2 and 4 cavity molds.

They have also done a couple GROUP BUYS on the Cast Boolits forum.

He's setting up now for a 100 machine run of the Ballisti-Cast SIZER, he has a Very Attractive Price for a unit

LOADED with all the BELLS AND WHISTLES. This is actually going to be Round Two of a GROUP BUY,

he learned a lot about the production planning from Round One of the sizing unit group buy.

Good Luck and Fortune to them.

Yes. I was surprised to see that thread (didn't realize is was an old one at first) because I had just talked to Mike a few days ago and he told me he was just getting ready to start on a big run of molds in the next couple weeks.

The revived thread caused a little concern for me. I have a couple of molds from Mike and plan to order more. They are the best.

I have heard a lot of really good things about the "new and improved" Ballisti-Cast company. Mike seems to have things in order and is putting out a great product. I haven't had the opportunity to try any of his molds out yet, but hope to be able to do so soon.

It is good to have some additional competition in the mold making industry. There are several custom or semi-custom mold makers out there now providing excellent quality and putting a lot of pressure on the likes of Lyman, RCBS and Lee to improve their quality and we are already seeing the fruits of that pressure.

IMO, Ballisti-Cast joining that group of semi-custom mold makers (and I use that term loosely) is a good thing.
