Best Replacement Grip

Couple of questions. Third pic down(view from the bottom): Is the thickness of that Ergo grip the same as the grip that comes with the sport? And I noticed that the Ergo had the beaver tail but your BCM does not(MOD 0). Any reason for the change in style? Does the grip on the BCM feel better because of no beaver tail?

Got my grip today, boy is BCM shipping fast! I have large hands but short fingers. While the ERGO Suregrip is nice and I like the texture, it makes the trigger to far away for a proper grip. The Gunfighter's MOD 0 changes all that for me. Can't wait to shoot with it.

Ergo and standard A2 grip

While the Ergo is very nice and comfortable it increased the distance from the back of the grip to the trigger. During long shooting sessions, I found myself bringing my whole hand around to pull the trigger. I have big hands but short fingers. I needed a grip that was comfortable but more vertical and a shorter distance to the trigger. The reason for more vertical is I try to shoot nose to charging handle so my stock is only out to click 3. The BCM Gunfighter's Mod 0 has fit the bill for me. I have not noticed not having the beaver tail.
