I took my EAJ Bodyguard to the range last week with a friend. Over the last 9 months or so, I've slowly been working my way through a 250 pack of UMC .380 ammo and I haven't had any issues until last week.

It happened to my friend first... fired 2 or 3 rounds and then pulled the trigger again... trigger clicks... but no round fires.

About 20 minutes and another 20 or so sounds later, the same thing happens to me. I pull the trigger all the way, hear a click, but no boom.

Had to rack the slide and eject those rounds in order to proceed.

Anyone else with a BG380 have this problem? This is my daily carry gun and it has been 99% reliable so far, but I would hate to pull the trigger in an emergency and just hear a click.

My EAJxxxx BG380 will do that with cheap ammo (hard primers) sometimes.
Sometimes with reloads. Usually fires on second strike. All other ammo especially Self-defense ammo fires every time. Hope this helps.

I have had that very same problem with my EAL BG380,I sent it back to
the factory and It was gone 21 days, they replaced that laser and the firing pin. The very next day I took it to the range fired a couple of rounds and looked at the spent brass and the primer has a little dent in it but it fired so I started to finish the rest of the box and had 2 FTF so it's has the same problem this is my CCW!!! I have no confidence
in this gun going to see if I can get my money back.

PS Sorry if this is hard to read I am Dyslexic.

I called the factory again today and they said if the primer as a 9 thousandth's deep firing pin dent it is within there spec's just to let you know that two pieces of printer paper is 8.5 thousandth thick.
I don't want to put my life on the line with a CCW that doesn't go off
every time I pull the trigger!
